At an event this week, Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville hit the red carpet together and talked about their possible returns to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. They both also weighed in on the show’s latest casting choice: Denise Richards.
Kim shared that she’s happy to not be filming right now because life is great. “It’s just so amazing for me. I like not having the negativity, being at peace, waking up in the morning and going to watch my grandson or having him for a week. I’m super grateful for that.”
She told People magazine, “I didn’t say that I wouldn’t [come back], I’m just saying I don’t miss the drama and arguing. But who’s to say that we couldn’https://people.com/tv/kim-richards-happy-talks-real-housewives-beverly-hills/t go on and stir up a little something. It does feel good to leave it at that. The season before, going on here and there a little bit was okay. Last year when they called, I was just like, ‘Yeah, no.’ ”
On Denise Richards joining the cast for the upcoming season, Kim Richards laughs and says “I don’t know her, I’ve just seen her, but I felt like, ‘Okay, so I didn’t come back, so [bring on] another Richards.” She then added, “I think she’s beautiful and I wish them all the luck.”
When Brandi Glanville, who was attending the premiere to support Kim, was asked her opinion on Denise joining, she said “I think [the cast] is going to be a lot of actresses, but I mean, isn’t everyone an actress then? I don’t know, but there are a lot of actresses. I think if she can handle Charlie Sheen, she’s got to have some kind of drama in her. We have the same agent so I know her and she’s always seemed sweet. But I look forward to seeing the naughty side!”
On whether she’d ever return to RHOBH, Brandi says “I think that if I had Kim [Richards] in my corner, it would be amazing. It’s not fun to go back to everyone that wants to kill you. The last reunion I went to, I felt like I was going into a shooting range and I was the target. And that’s not fun.”
