Of course you’ve heard the amazing surprise news! Andy Cohen is a father once again! He welcomed his Taurus baby Lucy Even Cohen into the world late last week. Andy made the announcement on Instagram with a caption that read, “HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!” Andy shared a darling picture of himself with his newest little bundle.
Andy’s announcement was flooded with love from all over. Anderson Cooper, John Mayer, and Khloe Kardashian are just a few of the names that left little Lucy some love. Anderson said, “Amazing! Congratulations! Welcome Lucy!!!!” John Mayer added, “Hello sweet girl! congrats Andy!”
Of course, The Real Housewives did it big in the comment section too. Past and present Housewives showed their love for dear Lucy and Andy’s growing family. One rather unexpected comment came from former Real Housewife of Potomac, Katie Rost.
Instead of keeping the focus on Andy’s newest family member, Katie decided to use the happy moment to shoot her shot for some airtime. According to a screenshot shared by @QueensofBravo she wrote, “Congrats @bravoandy on Lucy (still need a job bro, I will keep asking) Katie never gives up baby.” I think I just died of secondhand embarrassment. Like really.
One commenter said, “Weird turning his new baby excitement into making it all about her…but I still wanna see her on RHOP again.” Another suggested, “Girl go work a 9-5 like the rest of us you burned your bridge.”
Katie has been very vocal about her desires to return to the RHOP screen. Despite having gone after production in the past, it seems Katie has moved on and is ready to film again. In a post she made recently, Katie tried to appeal to Andy yet again.
“I would like to issue a public apology, for statements I made that weren’t cool in the past to Andy Cohen. And I do want a job. And I swear I will totally behave,” Katie wrote back in April. She added, “I’m also sorry for my temper tantrums. I feel no thirst. I just want to work.”
