Tamra Judge Reveals If She Would Leave Real Housewives If She Was Demoted Like Vicki Gunvalson

There has been a shake-up in the Housewives universe lately. Lisa Vanderpump quit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over “puppy gate.” Thanks again to Dorit Kemsley for that fiasco. Bethenny Frankel shocked everyone (including her co-stars) when she walked away from Real Housewives of New York.

And there was some stunning news from Real Housewives of Orange County. The “OG” of the OC was demoted. That’s right–Vicki Gunvalson lost her orange after being on the series since the launch. Vicki even managed to coerce get a proposal from her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, but it wasn’t enough to save her full-time position.

But don’t worry-Vicki isn’t moping around the Coto Insurance office. Instead, at a dinner with Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Shannon Beador, and newbie Braunwyn Windham-Burke, she brought up the fact that she knew something salacious about Kelly Dodd. Tamra asked if it was regarding a train. And that is how that choo-choo rumor left the station. On the way home, when Vicki wasn’t with the group, Tamra said that Vicki told her the story.

Clearly, these veteran RHOC co-stars are fighting to keep their jobs on the franchise and stay relevant. So, what would Tamra do if she was demoted to the position of lowly Friend of the Housewives like Vicki?

Tamra told US Weekly that she has considered that scenario. “That’s a tough one, and I was actually just talking about that with a friend. I don’t know. I feel like [if] there’s a point where I’m not that interesting, then I just might leave on a high note and just go, ‘OK, I’m done,’” Tamra shared.

Tamra admitted, “I don’t know that I’d stay as a friend.” Tamra seems to know that eventually things on RHOC will change. “I just feel like, you know, there’s gonna be a time when everything….I don’t know.” Tamra concluded, “I can’t say, because you just never know. But who knows?”

In a video clip, US Weekly correspondent Christina Garibaldi asked Tamra if she would leave a show if she was accused of leaking a story to the tabloids, or stay on and defend herself? It is obvious that she is referencing Lisa Vanderpump’s exit from RHOBH.

Tamra responded, “Stay on to defend myself.” When the host asked if there were reasons that Tamra had to defend herself in the past, the reality star was quick to answer. “Oh, I’ve had to defend myself for the past 12 years. What do you mean?” Tamra quipped. “Yeah, I mean quitting the show, instead of defending yourself…I think she should have shown up for the reunion. That’s just my opinion. That’s my opinion.”

Tamra added, “I think she should have, and even if she…she sat down and said, ‘Listen, I didn’t do it. I’m sorry you feel that way.’ Or, ‘I did do it. I’m sorry. I got annoyed; you know…’”

The RHOC star remarked, “The truth is, like we have connections with everybody. We’ve [been] done interviews with everybody. If we wanted to leak a story, everybody could.” Good to know, Tamra. Good to know.

It seems like nothing is certain lately in the world of the Housewives. We will have to stay tuned to see if Tamra gets an orange, or a demotion, next season.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK THAT TAMRA WILL BE DEMOTED NEXT SEASON? IF SO, SHOULD SHE STAY ON AS A FRIEND?
