Lisa Hochstein is back after nearly a decade to join the fourth season of Real Housewives of Miami. Lisa was not even 30 during her first two seasons of Miami. Viewers watched her in a new marriage, struggling with fertility, and trying to enter the Miami charity scene. Lisa boasted about her plastic surgeon husband and proudly flaunted bring his ‘best creation.’ It has already been fascinating to see what she’s been up to during the time between filming.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Lisa gave some details on the returning cast and what to expect in the coming episodes on Peacock. She admitted, “I feel like [the show is] just better for me this time around.” Lisa notes that her life experiences between season three and season four have made her not only a better wife and mother, but a better friend.
Fans of the show will remember Lisa calling herself a “connector” of the Miami based group of women. It seems time has made this statement stronger. “I am probably the one that was always remained friends with everyone, except for a couple people that are not even included on the show right now,” Lisa explained.”I have always remained in contact with most of the women. They come to all of my parties. I have dinners with them together and separately and maybe not all of them were in contact, so I guess I am still a connector in a way.”

Former Miami Housewives Lea Black, Joanna Krupa, Karent Sierra and Ana Quincoces are all missing from season four of RHOM. Lisa, for her part, is only surprised to see one of these four women gone from filming. And of course, it’s Lea.
Lisa and Lea had a rocky start to their friendship in season two. Lea essentially sabotaged Lisa’s lingerie charity function by bringing the felonious Girls Gone Wild creep, Joe Francis, as a guest. I was always confused how Lea’s only guest as a “top tier socialite” was a violent sex-obsessed criminal. To a lingerie charity event, no less. I digress.
“She’s still a good friend of mine, I love Lea,” Lisa gushed in her interview. “I think that she would’ve been a good re-addition to the show, but the other ones [not coming back] didn’t surprise me.”
