Josh Flagg Doesn’t ‘Give a F–ck’ About Upsetting Ryan Serhant With New York Real Estate License

All’s fair in love and real estate, so Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg isn’t afraid of whose feathers he ruffles. He’s got his eyes on a New York real estate license, and he’s not worried about the idea of encroaching on Ryan Serhant’s territory.

The longtime Bravolebrity has been a staple in the West Coast real estate market for years, but recently, he and his new bicoastal boyfriend have been spending a lot of time in the Big Apple.

Obviously, that’s Ryan’s territory and he’s proving it all over again on Netflix’s new series Owning Manhattan. Still, Josh said he’s not worried about Ryan and his real estate empire.

Josh has long resisted the idea of getting a real estate license in New York but explained to Us Weekly that he’s finally considering taking the leap. With him and his man spending so much time in the city. he feels like it’s a natural next step.

“I’ve always said no, because what I have in LA just works,” Josh explained. “But if I’m going to be spending two weeks or at least 10 days a month in New York, I may as well get my license and just because I know so many people here, but it’s not like something I’m pursuing.”

The reporter then asked if Josh felt concerned about coming into Ryan’s neck of the woods. He made it very clear that Ryan’s opinions were nowhere in his mind.

“I don’t really give a f–ck,” Josh said about Ryan’s feelings.

According to Josh, the two of them live separate lives and he wants it to stay that way. It’s not the warm and fuzzy energy you’d expect from a professional peer, but Josh claimed they had no beef.

“I have no problem with Ryan. We’re cordial. We’re not in the same circles,” Josh claimed.

In Josh’s mind, they’re not in the same circles, nor are their shows in the same league. Josh said he hadn’t actually watched Ryan’s new show on Netflix, but he felt pretty confident that it wasn’t the real deal. He believes MDLLA is the superior show.

“We are the only show where they’re real sales,” Josh claimed. “They’re real houses. The other shows like Selling Sunset, whatever, I think they’re licensed, but these are not real agents,” Josh claimed.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles airs new episodes on Bravo, Wednesdays at 9/8c. YOu can stream Ryan’s show, Owning Manhattan, on Netflix.
