Ryan Matthew Serhant, born on July 2, 1984, is an American real estate broker, author, and reality television personality known for his dynamic presence in the real estate industry and on television. Raised in Topsfield, Massachusetts, Serhant attended the Pingree School before majoring in English literature and theater at Hamilton College. After graduating in 2006, he moved to New York City to pursue an acting career, landing a role on the soap opera “As the World Turns.” Serhant’s real estate journey began in 2008, and despite a modest start, he quickly rose to prominence. In his first year, he earned just $9,000, but a year later, he closed his first major sale for $8.5 million. By 2012, he was ranked #15 among the top 100 most successful real estate agents in New York by The Real Deal.
