The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion has been pure pandemonium. The three-part spectacular is jam-packed full of screaming matches, insults, and accusations. The chaotic, Bermudian hellscape set they’re sitting on doesn’t make the mood any better.
If you watched the uncensored reunion on Peacock, you saw a few extra bits of content and a whole lot of cuss words. But according to Andy Cohen, there’s even more chaos that got left behind on the cutting room floor.
What we didn’t see on the RHOSLC Season 4 reunion
Andy dished about the Salt Lake City reunion during an episode of Andy Cohen Live on Sirius XM. He said that he heard feedback from a friend about Part 2 of the reunion. They thought it wasn’t a “good look” how he allowed Monica Garcia and Lisa Barlow to fight without intervening. In defense of his hosting skills, Andy said that he tried to stop the fighting. He played referee all day for the Housewives, but the editors removed the footage from the final edit.
“What was cut out is there are some people whose method of fighting is just to scream louder, keep talking, don’t take anything in, and just keep moving forward like a Mack truck,” Andy explained.
He continued, “And I would say that Monica is kinda of that ilk and I was jumping in the whole day. You don’t see it because you don’t want to see it.”
Andy gets an “A” for effort
Andy said that trying to control the Housewives was like watching a teacher trying to gain control of their classroom. He explained that it’s not the content that any viewer would want to see.
Heather Gay can definitely vouch for Andy on this. After they filmed the Season 4 reunion, she was the first one to talk about Andy’s meditation skills. She said he was screaming to try to get some order.
“I saw Andy scream in a way that reminded me of me being a teenager with my own father,” Heather teased. “It was thrilling on some level if you’re into the patriarchy, but it was … yeah, Andy yelled.”
So, although there we still witnessed a ton of screaming on the Season RHOSLC Season 4 reunion, it seems like we were spared from hearing it from Andy.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion continues on Bravo next Tuesday at 8/7c. The uncensored version drops on Peacock the following day.
