Robyn Dixon has been under fire for hiding Juan Dixon’s infidelity during her time on Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7. Robyn’s presence on the Bravo show has always been a light-hearted joke to viewers. Like, what has she given us besides a roommate ex-husband, a podcast, and a pixie cut in Season 4? All jokes aside though, Robyn has landed herself in trouble after finally admitting the rumors swirling around her relationship with Juan this season had some legs.
After the RHOP finale episode, Robyn joined Andy Cohen in the Bravo clubhouse for an episode of Watch What Happens Live that was reported on by People. Since filming for Season 7 wrapped, Robyn took it upon herself to set the record straight about the cheating allegations against Juan. She skillfully gave the details on her podcast with Gizelle Bryant after the reunion episodes were taped. Convenient!
While on WWHL, Robyn was placed in the hot seat for a solid line of questioning from Andy and fans alike. Robyn claimed she chose to stay silent about her issues with Juan during the recent RHOP season because they had already “handled” things off-camera.
“It was so in the back of my mind. We dealt with it, we moved on from it. I don’t know why I would say, ‘Hey guys, pick me, let’s talk about my issues,’ ” she argued. “It wasn’t an issue at that moment when we were filming. … It wasn’t relevant to where we were in that present time.”
According to Robyn, Juan wasn’t unfaithful to her. She claims he was merely an “idiot,” communicating through direct message with a woman in Canada during the early days of the COVID pandemic. She excused his behavior because he was “bored” and “needs attention.”
“They did not date. He did not fly her anywhere,” Robyn claimed on the Reasonably Shady podcast. She tried to swindle anyone who cares by teasing more details on her Patreon.
During the WWHL episode, though, Andy got Robyn to explain why Juan’s name was found on the hotel receipt of the woman in question.
“She had told Juan that she was dating a Baltimore Ravens player so she was telling him she was flying to Maryland and he’s like, ‘Okay, whatever.’ But somewhere along the way, she gets to Maryland, she’s reaching out to him, and she’s telling him she lost her wallet in the casino and she cannot pay for her hotel room,” Robyn said. “So he feels bad for her. Apparently she was really stressed out, really distraught. He feels bad for her, he goes to the hotel, puts his card down at the counter or whatever, and that’s it.”
I know she can’t be serious. How is it that her roommate, husband, and father of her two kids just randomly went to a hotel to meet a woman he’s low-key messaging on Instagram to pay for a hotel room while she’s supposedly dating another athlete? And didn’t these two just recover from massive debt? It feels a little early to be spending money on random Instagram followers like this. Just me?
“It sounded like B.S. to me when I found out about it. But he was very… you know… I believe him,” Robyn claimed. She added that it was the only time Juan ever met the woman. Because apparently, we believe what this dude has to say. “We’ve talked about it a lot and I believe what he told me,” she continued. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. You can’t help the helpless.
Andy, to his credit, pressed Robyn on why she didn’t share the truth on the show. “I didn’t withhold. It’s not about withholding information,” said Robyn. “It was because this information was given last week or the week before on a blog. And my problem was the woman was telling lies and trying to expose us. She was telling lies and I felt like I need to expose the lies.”

Andy didn’t miss a beat, though. He brought up Gizelle’s reputation for bringing the other women’s off-screen mess to center stage during RHOP filming events. Robyn countered, “I’m sure Gizelle will tell you, we’re really, really, really, really good friends. We talked about it when it happened so why would she have to bring it up when we’re filming when she and I already talked about it?”
She continued, “If you want to call it a double standard, maybe. But … if the roles were reversed and other people were in the same situation, I would expect other people to do the same thing for their friends.”
Robyn also insisted that the Canadian woman who Juan innocently gave money to at a hotel wasn’t the blonde Karen Huger look-alike mentioned during RHOP. Cringe. So who was that, then? I think we all agree that when it comes to Juan and rumored women, at this point, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
“We all have skeletons,” Robyn reminded the viewers. “I don’t think that anybody brings all their personal lives to the show,” she said. “Has Karen brought whatever she had really going on to the show? No. I don’t expect people to just tell on themselves like that when it is that damaging.”
When Andy asked why it’s okay for Robyn and Gizelle to demand transparency from their castmates, but not give full information themselves, Robyn explained, “I don’t demand transparency from anyone regarding their relationship.” I guess that includes Juan, too.
