Madison LeCroy and Craig Conover put Southern Charm fans on notice with their surprise TikTok debut back in May. It was the ultimate Season 8 teaser. Better than the trailer itself, if you ask me. In the clip, Madison and Craig are dancing to Usher’s “Love in this Club,” of all songs. How did we get here?
Things between Madison and Craig have always been complicated. Craig has consistently done his best to create a wedge between Madison and her former boyfriend, Austen Kroll. As if Austen needed any help…I digress.
It seems that dating Paige DeSorbo has opened Craig’s eyes to Austen’s chronic mistreatment of the women in his orbit. Things came to a head during the most recent season of Summer House where Austen caught himself in hot water with both Lindsay Hubbard and Paige’s bestie in the house, Ciara Miller.
Things continue to be rocky between Craig and Austen since the summer filming. Season 8 of Southern Charm will surely bring that arc full circle. In the meantime, it looks like we can anticipate a new allegiance between #justicewarrior Craigy and the women of Austen’s past. Welcome to the right side of history, my guy! In return for his shifted loyalty, Madison has shown some love for Craig recently.
“I hope Craig is good,” Madison said according to E! News. “I know he loves [Paige]. I hope they stay together because I want her around more often.” Of course Madison loves the woman responsible for opening Craig’s eyes to Austen’s poor behavior!
Madison, who has found her own love off of the Southern Charm screen, has nothing but great things to say about Craig and Paige’s relationship. She shared that she is a “huge fan” of Summer House, adding, “Love Paige, I think she’s adorable. She can do no wrong.”
As for her fate on Southern Charm, Madison teased, “You have to promise me you’ll stay tuned and watch. All you guys have to know, I know there was a little bit of confusion, is I’m not going anywhere and I’m in there. You have to understand my priorities have changed tremendously than what they were when I was in this mix years prior.” And hopefully so has her taste in men!
