Andy Cohen has always had a fascination of sorts with the plastic surgery choices of the Housewives. He regularly asks them if they have had boob jobs or face lifts when starting a reunion. I’ve never understood why he feels the need to ask but I guess inquiring minds want to know. Some Housewives deny having any work done (whether it seems obvious or not) and some don’t mind sharing at all. And to be clear – I think it’s totally their choice as to whether or not they want to share.
But Andy’s mouth recently got him in trouble on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. As reported by E! News, he accidentally outed Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards for having a breast reduction. Something she hadn’t previously revealed. On the episode, Andy nonchalantly asked Kyle how her breast reduction worked out. She replied, “Thank you for letting everybody know, Andy.”
Andy gasped at his mistake and the audience laughed about his obvious slip. Said an embarrassed Andy, “I thought you’ve talked about it! No, no! Oh my god. You told me about it so many times! I’m so sorry.” Kyle insisted, “I never told anybody.” But she went on to explain the details of why she got the procedure. She stated, “I never had implants. I had double Ds, no implants. I still don’t have implants but I went in and I said, ‘I want smaller boobs. I don’t ever want to wear a bra ever again in my life again.’ And here I am.”
Kyle added that her breasts are “still swollen” from the surgery three weeks ago, which is why the reduction likely wasn’t noticeable. But she can now ditch the bras, which I’m sure is an awesome feeling. She also noted that she would always be open about her procedures. Kyle continued, “I have never lied about anything I’ve done and I never, ever will.”
Lucky for Andy, after his continuous apologies, Kyle took it in stride. She told him, “It’s okay, Andy. I love you. I can’t wait to share more things with you tomorrow.” Well, I guess that’s one less procedure Andy has to ask about at the RHOBH reunion this season.
