We haven’t even seen a second of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club, yet a war of words is already brewing between the cast members. Vicki Gunvalson and Dorinda Medley have been going back and forth this past week after Vicki committed the cardinal sin of dissing Blue Stone Manor. After catching wind of Vicki’s shade, Dorinda unleashed her wrath during her Sirius XM show. Since these are two Housewives who love to have the last word, it should come as no surprise that Vicki is now clapping back at Dorinda through some strongly worded Instagram comments.
Last week when Dorinda heard about Vicki insulting Blue Stone Manor by calling it “old,” the Real Housewives of New York City alum let out a slew of insults aimed at Vicki’s tumultuous relationships over the years. First, she took shots at the infamous Brooks Ayers cancer scam. Then, she poked fun at Vicki’s failed relationship with Steve Lodge.
With the ball back in her court, the OG of the OC called Dorinda “the nasty one” and claimed that she never intended to bash Blue Stone Manor. As Page Six reported, Vicki wrote in an Instagram comment, “She’s the nasty one. I never said anything bad about her home. I said if it makes her happy, then good.” She continued, “I also said her house is in the middle of nowhere (truth) and it’s old (truth).”
It really doesn’t sound so bad when you put it that way. Regardless, Dorinda chopped up Vicki’s assessment of Blue Stone Manor to a lack of taste. She said during her radio show, “Well, listen, this is a girl that thinks dancing on dirty tables in a bar at Puerto Vallarta [or] whatever that place is called is fun. So, I mean, you can’t really have people that don’t have taste understand taste.” She added, “You have to have a taste level to understand a home like Blue Stone Manor, and you have to understand a lifestyle.”
On Instagram, Vicki refuted the comments about her taste level. She responded, writing, “Defensive much? Saying I don’t have taste? That’s a joke – my taste is definitely different than hers AND she was horrible to most people who stayed there. It was miserable.”
Does Vicki expect us to believe that Dorinda was horrible to her guests at Blue Stone Manor? Not the queen of hospitality! She’s known for cooking, decorating, and making it nice. What could possibly be miserable about that?
Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club premieres on Peacock on June 23rd, so we’ll have to tune in to see just how “miserable” Vicki’s experience at Blue Stone Manor actually was. Either way, something tells me this isn’t the last we’ve heard of this feud.
