Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club is almost upon us. The second season of the hit franchise RHUGT is set to debut June 23rd on Peacock. And things have been heating up in the months following filming. With cast members like Brandi Glanville and Tamra Judge, you know things are going to get mean. But now the Queen of Mean, Dorinda Medley, is coming out swinging.
Apparently Dorinda and Vicki Gunvalson are not on the best of terms. And I’m putting that lightly. As reported by Page Six, Dorinda took to her SiriusXMpodcast, Make It Nice. She was anything but when talking about Vicki. The former Real Housewives of New York star said, “Like, you may not like my life, but I also don’t date people that pretend to have cancer, you know what I mean?” Obviously, she’s referring to one of the most villainous housewives player of all time, Brooks Ayers. Vicki dated him for 5 years over multiple seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County. Even after castmate Meghan King exposed him for lying about having cancer.
Dorinda continued her take down and moved on to Vicki’s former fiance, Steve Lodge. The couple were also together for 5 years before they broke up in 2021. The failed gubernatorial candidate ended up getting engaged to woman 26 years his junior 3 months later. Steve was married (fourth time’s a charm!) in April of this year. Dorinda said of Steve, “I also don’t date men that then leave you for women that are half their age. You wanna get mean, I’ll get mean.” Whew. Dorinda is definitely hitting Vicki where it hurts.
Another point of contention was Vicki calling Blue Stone Manor “old.” Dorinda snapped, “Well, listen, this is a girl that thinks dancing on dirty tables in a bar at Puerto Vallarta [or] whatever that place is called is fun. So, I mean, you can’t really have people that don’t have taste understand taste.” Given that Blue Stone Manor had a feature in Architectural Digest and was built by a renowned architect, Dorinda isn’t wrong. She added, “You have to have a taste level to understand a home like Blue Stone Manor, and you have to understand a lifestyle.”
Dorinda pointed out that at the very least, Vicki could be respectful. Dorinda explained, “She was a guest in my house. So regardless of what she thinks, it just shows that she really has no real manners. I would never say anything bad about her house.” She continued, “It’s not my taste, but, you know, you, when you come as a guest to someone’s house, you be gracious. That’s what I think. And also too, you know, jealousy is a terrible thing.”
If you thought Dorinda was done, you would be wrong. She finally accused Vicki of being a hater. Dorinda remarked, “Sometimes when you’re unhappy … and you see someone that’s so happy and doing so well, they just can’t take it.” Dorinda believes that Vicki “opened up a can of worms” with her. And replied “yes” without pause when she was asked if this means war. Oh yeah, she’s definitely startin’.
