Kenya Moore is unbothered. Or is she? Now that Marlo Hampton finally has her peach, she can fully reignite her feud with Kenya. The Real Housewives of Atlanta costars briefly formed an alliance last season against Porsha Williams. But now that Porsha is gone, the two have little reason to play nice.
Kenya is now busy shading Marlo by pretending she’s completely irrelevant. In an interview with E! News, when asked about Marlo, Kenya replied, “Who?” She repeated, “Who? I don’t know who you’re talking about.” Now we all know damn well Kenya is trolling. And we also know that Marlo is getting under Kenya’s skin. And vice versa.
While Kenya refused to call out Marlo by name, she made it obvious who she was talking about as she went on about this season’s “villain.” She added, “You can see who argues the most with everybody. And who drums up drama for no reason. Or who feels really a need to hold onto a newly found peach after not having one for 11 years.”
After it being reported that Kenya and Marlo were on the outs again back in December, things heated up as they continued to trade shade in the press. Marlo accused Kenya of betraying longtime friend Cynthia Bailey during their time on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
She also noted that Kenya should mind her own finances, instead of hers. Said Marlo, “It’s embarrassing. I’m getting paid, if they don’t know when I post, I’m getting paid on the platform I’m on, that’s OK. I don’t live above my means. I live in a townhome that’s paid for. Do you think, I’m just broke? Like, I wasn’t smart enough to have investments or properties and different streams of income? It’s insulting.” Kenya returned the favor by ripping Marlo for calling her a “hater, jealous, and a has-been.” Said Kenya, “I’d rather be a has-been than a never-was.”
But despite her issues with Marlo, Kenya is feeling good about this season of RHOA. She even teased that the episodes to come are “really interesting.” She added, “I think the girls are bringing it this season. We’re going back to what makes us special as The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s back to being funny, it’s back to being a sisterhood and it’s back to being some real drama but not over the top.” Kenya concluded, “I had a great time this season. It’s one of my best seasons I’ve ever had, I think.”
