How can one succinctly describe Larsa Pippen? To me, she’s a wave maker and icon on Real Housewives of Miami. To some, she’s the wife of NBA superstar, Scottie Pippen. To any Kardashian’s fans out there, Larsa might just be a wanna be.
During the re-boot season of RHOM, Larsa caught some heat from the other women for adjusting her look. Adriana DeMoura ironically led the charge when it came to going after Larsa’s work during the ‘off-season.’ In an early episode she attacked Larsa out of nowhere saying, “You left this group of women, come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian, which you’re never going to be.” Through it all, though, Larsa did her best to keep Kim’s name, Kanye West’s member, and a whole bunch of other secrets, out of her mouth.
During a recent sighting with Scott Disick at a friends birthday party, Larsa’s relationship with the Kardashian-clan was called to question yet again. Page Six reports Larsa and Scott are just “really good friends.”
According to Larsa, she and Scott have an “organic friendship.” She explained, “Whenever he’s here [in Miami], he calls me and we always meet up for lunch.” True to form, Larsa refused to give up too much info about her conversation with Scott at the birthday bash. She insisted they were “simply catching up.”
“We’re just really good friends. We’ve been friends for a long time,” Larsa added.
It’s unsurprising that Larsa would want to be tight-lipped about her relationship with anyone in Kim’s sphere. She claims to have been previously ousted by the family because she “knew too much” during Kim’s messy divorce from Kanye. During a Real Housewives of Miami confessional Larsa shared, “I was best friends with Kim, and I love her, and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle.
“I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship,” she continued. “I knew too much, I was a problem, and so, whatever. That’s kind of what happened.”
