Plastic surgery is nothing new in the world of housewives. It used to be something they would demurely deny when pressed by Andy Cohen at a reunion. But as time went on, our housewives started being more and more open about their cosmetic procedures and surgeries. Like Real Housewives of Orange County stars Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino, who both had their surgeries filmed as part of their storyline. Eventually, we have even gotten to the point where our favorite Bravolebrities are advertising the work they got on their social media, likely for a free procedure.
But like anything else, this leaves one open to criticism. And now former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is dealing with just that. There’s no doubt that her appearance has changed over the years. But fans have grown increasingly bold about taking shots at her. Even after she revealed that in 2021, she suffered 2nd degree burns to her face after an accident with a psoriasis light treatment. She said at the time, “I’m still swollen and having people attack my looks just makes me feel like I never wanna leave my house and I just want to cry.”
Now Brandi is being dragged again online after she posted a clip of herself on Instagram to promote her podcast. As reported by Page Six, commenters flooded the post with mean observations about her looks. Said one, “Is that a Brandi imposter with bad plastic surgery? Holy s–t!!! That’s bad, real bad.” Another added, “Omg please stop doing botox.” One user questioned, “Oh Brandi what have you done to your beautiful face sweetheart.” They added a sad emoji.
Brandi being Brandi, she had no problem clapping back the next day. She shared a meme that read, “My GIVE A F–K is still broken, but my GO F–K YOURSELF is fully functional.” Her caption read, “Always functional.”
Despite the hate, other were quick to defend her. One fan wrote, “You look lovely Brandi, sun kissed and natural.” Another supporter stated, “You are a total smokeshow.” They included a bunch of fire emojis to emphasize the compliment.

But one fan took the time to address the haters directly and explain why what they are doing is wrong. They began, “I would like to be an antidote to the comments about Brandi’s face. Firstly. It is mean. Secondly, it is mean. I am so SO tired of people commenting from their sofa’s about other’s APPEARANCES. No doubt Brandi thought she was tweaking things to make herself feel better in some way AS ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE does in Hollywood.”
The fan concluded, “Regardless…just remember this…IT IS MEAN. Public eye or not. Social Media or to someone’s face. MEAN and it WILL come back to you AS EQUAL = ENERGY. Full stop.”
