The throwing of the wine glass scene on Summer House by Ciara Miller has turned into one of the most overtalked about moments of the season. It really wasn’t that exciting nor was it worthy of the numerous mentions in the aftermath.
There are so many more interesting conversations, outfits and relationships we could dissect in this Summer House season. However, the topic was brought up yet again on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen.
In case you missed it, in a Summer House episode this season the cast discussed their definition of love at dinner. During the discussion, Ciara boldly pointed out how insensitive Lindsay Hubbard’s actions were in regard to Austen Kroll.
Austen from Southern Charm was Ciara’s crush – or more like heavy feels – when he visited the house for Lindsay’s B-day celebration. Linds was aware of their vibe that started on Winter House. But, she completely disregarded any connection between Austen and Ciara by flirting and making out with her boy Austen.
During the dinner, Danielle Olivera stuck up for her gal pal Linds and Ciara wasn’t having it. She reacted with some choice words and by throwing her wine AND her glass at Danielle’s chest.
Recently on WWHL, Ciara said she takes accountability for throwing the wine glass at Danielle.
By taking accountability, Ciara appears to be a person who has had some time to reflect, or at a minimum see how cray cray she looked getting so heated and physical over Austen.
Andy asked “Is there anything else that you want to clear up that you don’t feel was expressed tonight?”
“I definitely take full responsibility and accountability for throwing that wine glass,” Ciara answered. “I let my emotions get the best of me and that was not a great representation of me. I am apologetic.”
Thank you Ciara. You are on the road to redemption. Taking accountability and saying sorry were needed after letting Austen get you so emotional. The whole Austen escapade was hard to watch. He treated Ciara with little respect and like a number in his long list of conquests. Wait… is that the definition of a f**kboy? Ironically, Danielle defended Austen against that very label.
Since Ciara has watched her actions play out on Summer House and witnessed what viewers saw in terms of Austen’s cocky actions, she appears to have seen the light. She admitted, “I have a lot of regret.”
Live and learn girlfriend, live and learn. We all do. It happens. Everyone gets played occasionally. And when it happens, it’s hard not to get emotional and defensive.
Ciara admitted her regrets and has taken responsibility. Viewers look forward to also moving on. Ciara has admitted her and Austen basically have no relationship. Therefore, everyone is now eager to watch her find someone who is worthy of all those wine throwing emotions.
