Real Housewives Of Miami Star Alexia Echevarria’s Son Peter Rosello Arrested

Being on her fourth season of Real Housewives of Miami, Alexia Echevarria is used to having her life on camera. Which also means her life is in the media – the good and the bad.

Unfortunately for Alexia, now she is dealing with her son’s legal troubles. As reported by Page Six, Alexia’s oldest son, Peter Rosello, was arrested for domestic violence. Peter was accused of slapping and kicking his girlfriend in a domestic dispute. The incident occurred at the apartment they share together in Miami.

A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department shed some details on the event. The couple have been together for three months. The incident occurred when they came home from a night out. The unnamed victim told Peter she wanted to go and stay at her mother’s house. According to the police report, this made Peter “upset.”

The girlfriend alleged that Peter put his hands around her neck and pushed her backwards. She slapped his hands away from her neck. She then claimed Peter kneed her in the crotch area, causing her to gall to the ground. The report continued, “The defendant then kicked the victim once while she was on the ground.”

According to police, “The girlfriend tried to escape by running out the front door” but Peter allegedly “grabbed the victim by her arm and pulled her back inside of the apartment.” She tried to flee a second time and began yelling. This alerted a nearby neighbor in their complex, who is listed as a witness to the altercation.

The witness told police that they saw Peter “pull the victim inside of the apartment as she was trying to free herself from his grip.” The neighbor then admitted the girlfriend into their apartment and called the police. The victim seemed “distressed” and had visible marks to her face, neck and pain in her crotch. She was treated at the scene. Peter was booked and charged with a battery misdemeanor, with a bond set at $1,500.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Peter has had an incident with the law. In 2012, he was arrested for attacking a homeless man as a “prank.” Peter videotaped the event and posted it online with the title, “Hobo Get Nutchecked.” At the time, Peter posted to his Facebook page, “it’s funnyyyyyyyy. im fu**ing around though. I feel bad for those people. didn’t mean to offend anyone. they got my love, i always give them like 5 bucks or weed.” He pled guilty in a deal to avoid jail time.

In 2013, Peter was also arrested for possession of marijuana. After crashing into an unmarked police car, the police report said they found “a backpack with marijuana in a jar and a pipe” and Peter admitted it was his bag. While Peter wasn’t arrested at the scene, he had to appear in court and was charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The prosecutors dropped the charges when Peter agreed to “extend his intervention program for another six months.”

Peter is currently on this season of RHOM with Alexia. And a big part of her storyline features the ongoing issues between Peter and Todd Nepola, who was her fiancé at the time. The two have since married.

On February 9, 2022, attorney Peter Heller told Reality Tea, “After a prefile investigation of the case by the State Attorney’s office, the decision was made not to file charges against Peter Alexander Rosello. There was no evidence to support allegations. The case was dismissed and is now closed.” A source close to the family said that they are “happy that Peter was vindicated by the justice system and they look forward to moving on.”
