Braunwyn Windham-Burke has been in the news nonstop over the last year. And I’m sure she loves every second of it. She came out as an alcoholic and also a lesbian. She got a new girlfriend. Next she wasn’t asked back for another season of Real Housewives of Orange County, which made her famous. Well, D-list famous, I guess.
With the (unsurprising) recent announcement that she would be separating from husband Sean Burke, any fans she has left were wondering what was next for her. Well, in true housewives fashion, she’s being sued.
Radar Online is reporting that Braunwyn and Sean are being sued for $45k in back rent. The rent in question is for the giant mansion they were living in during the last season of RHOC. According to court documents, Braunwyn and Sean have failed to pay their $15k a month rent for three months.
Their landlord, who owns the 5 bedroom, 8,000 square foot house, told them that they have to vacate the premises immediately. The couple rented the property in January of 2020 and signed on to an 18 month lease.
Apparently now that they are being kicked out, the couple will find separate places to live too. After announcing her separation, Braunwyn said, “We are packing up this house, the one we filmed last year, and we are moving. We have decided jointly that we are going to take a few months apart.” No mention of being kicked out, of course.

Braunwyn plans to co-parent their seven kids and move to Hawaii while Sean stays in Newport Beach. Sean admitted, “We’re going to see what that’s like, living apart for a little while.”
Braunwyn also said, “What we would like to do is when this is over, is to get a house that the kids stay in and then we might go [back and forth]. We haven’t decided if, after this little experiment of having a few months apart, if we are gonna come back together and live together as friends and family, or if we’re going to just keep the kids in the house and we’ll come in and out.”
The couple have yet to respond to the lawsuit in court. Stay tuned.
