How is everyone doing? Are you all recovered from the Real Housewives of Potomac calamity yet? For anyone who isn’t keeping up with arguably one of the best modern day franchises, this latest season was a stunner. Following some bad behavior (but nothing we haven’t seen before – several times – like so many times), and a whole lot of media bashing, Housewife Monique Samuels made the decision to leave the show.
After her exit from the show, Potomac producers reportedly began looking for TWO new Housewives to join the cast. Before you get too excited, no they’re not replacing Robyn Dixon quite yet. Can you believe she’s squeaked through this long on an ex-husband and condo-living story line?
theJasmineBRAND is reporting that Bravo is likely adding Mia Thornton to the season 6 RHOP cast. Mia is not yet confirmed as a full-time Housewife. She may only be joining in a “friend-of” capacity. Sources report that Mia is closest friends with current Housewife and Potomac veteran, Ashley Darby. Of all the women, Ashley could sure use a decent friend right about now.
It became very clear during the latest season’s reunion episodes that Candiace Dillard and the green eyed bandits were teaming up against both Ashley and Monique. Or maybe A and M were teaming up against the bandits? Depends how you align. A source revealed, “Potomac needs to fill Monique’s role on the show. Before Monique quit, production was anticipating following the aftermath of Monique and Candiace – will they reconcile? Will the cast remain divided? Now that she’s gone, they’ll need to explore new people.”

I, for one, was really looking forward to the reunion fallout. Damn Monique for having standards or whatever. And damn the rest of the cast for shoo-ing her away while they continue to boast some of the most lackluster arcs I’ve ever witnessed. Honestly, Gizelle Bryant is just wasting our time at this point. I s2g if she doesn’t address the well-documented cheating pastor rumors her ex-husband/latest-boyfriend comes with, I’ll lose it. Bring me the literal binder of receipts on him please! Or just stop bringing him around and then getting mad we want more. That’ll work too.
