Very few Housewives actually quit the show. They usually make up some nonsense about “other opportunities in the future” and “deciding to step away.” However, being a Real Housewife comes with a lot of perks that would be hard for most of these women to pass up.
Even before Real Housewives of Orange County Season 15 started airing, the fandom started to turn against Kelly Dodd. She made many comments about the coronavirus pandemic, referring to it as “God’s way of thinning the herd.” She declared that “no one is dying” in Orange County. Then, she wore a “Drunk Wives Matter” hat in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement.
On the show, Kelly hasn’t said too many super controversial things this season. But, on he own social media posts, she’s just put her foot in her mouth, many times over. Andy Cohen seemed over her at the reunion, which isn’t a great sign for her future on the show.
Exhibit A: Carole Radziwill, who got heated with Andy at her last reunion. Exhibit B: Monique Samuels, who seemed to have some tension with Andy at her final reunion as well.

Now that the season is finally over, a casting reboot is seriously needed. Most likely, Tamra Judge is going to come back since they talked about her in almost every episode this season.
Kelly recently said she won’t film the show with Braunwyn Windham-Burke. Considering that Andy and most of the other Housewives just glossed over Braunwyn offering contact information for Shannon Beador’s 14-year-old daughter to get in touch with her drug dealer, it seems like someone behind the scenes is on #TeamBraunwyn. So, does this mean Kelly is out?

Plus some viewers supposedly boycotted this season of Real Housewives of Orange County, citing Kelly’s outrageous comments as the reason.
Well, even Kelly thinks she’s probably getting fired. On Instagram, a fan commented, “They better not fire you, people are fed up with the cancel culture. Love you and your husband!” In response Kelly said, “it’s likely to happen.”
I guess we will find out soon enough.
