David Beador is far from a beloved figure in the Real Housewives of Orange County fandom. Then again, at this point, next to no one is a “fan favorite” on Real Housewives of Orange County. It seems like it’s a daily contest about who’s the worst person to come from this show.
Anyway, I’ve digressed. David, the man famous for his overly dilated eyeballs and cheating on Shannon Beador after having sex with her on her birthday (yes, he admitted to that on camera)… and multiple times after that… well, that guy is now a married man with a baby on the way. That’s right, Lesley Cook has married her prince and now she’s Lesley Beador, which has to be driving Shannon crazy, despite her seemingly happy relationship with John Janssen.
According to Us Weekly, Lesley confirmed the news via Instagram Story with a screenshot of her Instagram profile, to point out the name change from “Lesley Cook” to “Lesley Beador.”
She wrote “#LesleyBeador” and “Dreams do come true.” Oh, wow. Sounds like a nightmare to me, but you do you, girl. Or you do, David. Whatever. The appeal of this man is just so difficult for me to unpack, but good for her I guess.

In another Instagram post (on her private account), Lesley shared a photo of them wearing bride and groom face masks (Oh, 2020) and wrote “You are the most supportive, kind, adventurous, loving and patient man. Grateful to have found you. Proud to be your wife.”
David was far from the model husband when he was married to Shannon, but maybe he just had a lemon allergy and couldn’t deal with having nine in a bowl at all times. Or he just was tired of seeing Dr. Moon all the time. I’m grasping at straws here, but I’m just hoping he’s a better husband to Lesley than he’s been in the past.
