Despite a season of The Real Housewives of New York that felt unfocused and fueled by alcohol, this reunion is DELIVERING. All of the ladies have brought their A game for the first in person reunion in months. Dorinda Medley has been in the hot seat from the beginning because of her drinking and anger issues. The way she’s gone after Tinsley Mortimer has been jarring to say the least. What did this girl ever do to her?
Leah McSweeney is fed up with Ramona Singer. She can’t handle the double standards anymore. NEITHER CAN WE LEAH. We understand. The way Ramona has come for Leah at every turn about things she ignores in others is gross. What’s the difference? Please tell everyone Ramona. The world is all ears. It’s Dorinda’s final season, but shouldn’t it be Ramona’s as well?
The way Dorinda tries to tear down Tinsley’s relationship is so gross. There’s really no reason for it. I do understand that Tinsley wasn’t transparent about her life though. It must get frustrating to deal with someone unable to be authentic in all aspects of their life.
However, why does Dorinda care so much about what Tinsley does? It doesn’t really affect her. Get over it. It’s obvious why Dorinda got fired after watching this reunion. She’s nasty, and she doesn’t want to discuss anything to do with herself. She wants Tinsley to bare it all for the audience, but any questions about her own issues, she deflects.
Sonja Morgan makes excuses for Dorinda’s behavior toward Tinsley. She’s probably still bitter that Tinsley didn’t buy her things as her house guest. Sonja has had an issue with Tinsley from the jump. Everyone’s issues with Tinsley feel so superficial, but they act like it cuts so deep. Just let this poor girl live her life.

Tinsley doesn’t want to hear Dorinda’s apology at this point because she feels like it’s too little too late. It’s hard to disagree with that. Dorinda is only doing it now because she’s being forced to, and she’s barely doing that. It doesn’t come across sincere or genuine whatsoever. Dorinda is one angry woman, and it doesn’t make any sense.
Tinsley had a great bit of foreshadowing that Dorinda’s inability to ever be wrong would be her downfall. Well, she got fired, so I guess that was spot on. Dorinda dug her whole deeper than ever at this reunion. Any shot at redemption went out the window.
Dorinda explains that she flipped out at the finale because it was Bethenny Frankel who introduced Leah to the group not Tinsley. Did anyone ever say Tinsley brought Leah into the group? I don’t think that was the case. Dorinda’s a hypocrite because she had no problem with Bethenny ditching the show a day before filming. However, she wants to burn Tinsley at the stake for leaving to find love. That’s just whack.

In the middle of the fighting, Ramona gets up to pee, and of course she forgets her mask. She’s so used to acting above everyone else and choosing not to wear one. The rules don’t apply to the one percent don’t you know? She’s just yuck. Period.
Hearing about Tinsley making out with her sister is so cringe. They practiced showing how they kiss with one another. It’s good to know that she’s a great kisser though. Lucky Leah, and good for Scott Kluth!
I don’t understand Luann de Lesseps‘ issue with the “lower level” of Ramona’s place. It didn’t seem like a bad place to stay at all. Nothing about it appeared as dire as Luann made it out to be. At the same time though, it definitely sucks to always get the short end of the stick with the room arrangement. Nobody wants to feel banished or treated like an afterthought.
It’s the end of the road for Tinsley, but it was fabulous getting to see her one last time. She wasn’t my favorite Housewife by any means, but she wasn’t horrible either. She’ll be semi missed by me! Hopefully things work out with Scott, but if they don’t, maybe she’ll make a return to the show someday.

What a great season Luann had! It was such a redemption season after the legal issues and cabaret hell in recent years. She truly was Lu and improved this year. What a wild transformation she has made since the start of the show. Has any other cast member in Housewives history had such a transformation during their tenure on the series? Sometimes she feels like an entirely new person.
The women say that Luann is more real and approachable than she used to be. She’s so much more down to earth than she ever has before. She’s been through a lot in the last few years, and the comeback has been fun to see.
Luann wants to set the record straight about not paying Sonja, but the reasoning makes no sense. She claims to not really have an impact on who gets paid what. It’s also weird that she drew comparisons to not being paid to sing at Sonja’s party. The cabaret show is to feed Luann’s ego, whereas the drag queen BINGO was for charity. Sometimes Luann’s lack of self awareness seeps through a bit.

It hurts my heart to see Luann break down talking about the death of her father. He had such a redemption story, so she should know that he would be proud to see how far she has come. She’s worked hard to get her life back on track, and the evolution has been beautiful.
Does anyone have more game than Luann? She is the queen at picking up men. She’s everything Ramona tries to be but isn’t. Sonja is pretty good too. She’s so hilarious when she’s trying to pick up guys. There’s just a cute quality to her.
Dorinda is finally seeing someone! This is so great. It’s new, but I hope it works out. Everyone seemed to know about him except Ramona. Nobody wants to tell her anything. She’d probably try to steal him from her. Ramona likes to one up everyone.
DYING AT ANDY COHEN CALLING RAMONA “RAMOMMY”. DEAD. Her maternal instincts lasted about two minutes with Ramona. I get where she’s coming from about Leah’s sister though. I don’t know that I’d want someone’s random relative on my trip with me.

Ramona definitely overreacted at the party because it wasn’t just Leah who was dancing provocatively. Luann, Dorinda, and Sonja were also behaving the same way. It doesn’t even make sense because Leah doesn’t say anything different than what others say. There’s a double standard there that boggles the brain. Ramona is an anomaly.
The way Ramona brought Leah’s mental health history onto the show was disgusting and tasteless. As someone who has bipolar disorder, I can assure you that Ramona has no idea what she’s talking about. It’s such dangerous rhetoric to go on a show like this and use your platform to add to the mental health stigma.
Leah freaks out on Ramona for bringing it up on the show and forcing her to have a conversation with her daughter about it. There were aspects to her past that her daughter was unaware of. Ramona is literally standing behind bringing up Leah’s bipolar disorder on the show. It’s utter trash.

Leah and Ramona might be able to mend the relationship moving forward, so I suppose that’s a good sign. Ramona and Dorinda might be past the point of no return though. I think they’re a lot alike and that’s one of the reasons they continue to butt heads over everything. Neither of them can handle being in the hot seat. They’ve both spent multiple reunions trying to reflection attention off of themselves.
