Season 10 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was basically all about Denise Richards. I am sure that she really wishes that wasn’t the case. First her husband Aaron Phypers inserted himself into the drama. Then RHOBH alum Brandi Glanville dropped the bombshell that she allegedly hooked up with Denise.
Denise, of course, denied the rumors. She sent out cease and desist letters to Bravo and her co-stars. Denise also suffered from “shifting story syndrome,” and she repeatedly contradicted herself.
Denise would flee whenever there was drama rather than face it, which annoyed her fellow Housewives. This season wasn’t Denise’s finest hour. At the end of the RHOBH virtual reunion, Denise tried to dip out early by searching for a snack and saying that she had to memorize dialogue for The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress was desperate to escape these ladies. Then the news broke that Denise was quitting RHOBH. Was her announcement shocking? Not at all.
Newbie Beverly Hills Housewife Garcelle Beauvais has been Denise’s ride-or-die this season. Garcelle is proudly “Team Denise Richards,” even after her friend’s lies continued to pile up.

In an interview with People, Garcelle discussed her friendship with Denise and the tension between Denise and her co-stars. “It’s always hard when you see a friend struggling,” Garcelle stated. “We wanted to get to the bottom of it and get clarity on the rumor. But it was hard to watch a friend go through that. I’m Team Denise,” Garcelle added.
Garcelle went into filming knowing that there were going to be clashes between the ladies. “When you have eight women, there is going to be friction. We are all strong, and no one is in the corner not saying how they feel,” the actress explained.

“Though some are more emotional about it! I didn’t come on the show to destroy anybody or take anybody down. That’s not my MO,” Garcelle remarked. “But at the same time, I will definitely stand up for how I feel and say how I feel. I may have ruffled feathers, but I’d rather not be a hypocrite.”
After filming the RHOBH reunion, Garcelle unfollowed her pal Lisa Rinna on social media. This season destroyed Denise and Lisa’s 20-year friendship. Lisa went after Denise over and over again. It was ugly.

And Garcelle made it plain during the season that she didn’t vibe with “OG” Kyle Richards. Garcelle found it difficult to communicate with Kyle. Kyle accused Garcelle of using her for a storyline, but Garcelle refuted Kyle’s claims.
Garcelle, who was recently named as a new co-host for the talk show The Real, did enjoy her first season on RHOBH. According to People, Garcelle said, “I loved meeting Erika [Girardi]. We are similar in terms of we say how it is, and we keep it moving.”

“When we had fun, we had fun and when there was drama, there was drama. But that’s life!” Garcelle added.
