Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has experienced a lot of big life changes recently. In October of 2019, Lala announced that she had been sober for one year. Being sober and hanging with her alcohol-drenched Pump Rules co-stars must be extraordinarily difficult. Congrats, Lala!
In April, an entertaining social media feud erupted between Lala, her man Randall Emmett, and Curtis James Jackson III, also known as 50 Cent. Allegedly Randall, who produces projects involving the rap star, owed 50 Cent $ 1 million dollars. 50 Cent brutally dissed Lala, and in the mayhem, Randall accidentally called 50 Cent “Fofty.” The hilarious moniker stuck for a while. Eventually, the loan was repaid.
Now the couple is embarking on a business venture together. In an interview with Page Six, the duo announced that they are launching a weekly podcast together. Yes–even Lala and Randall have their own podcast. Does everyone have a podcast except for me? Just wondering.
The brilliant title of the podcast is, “Give Them Lala…with Randall.” Lala said, “Randall and I both like to talk a lot and we’re always very curious about people’s lives and how they came to the place that they are in their life and we thought, ‘What better than a podcast for us?’ I feel like I’m in charge of the content that I’m putting out, which I don’t have in any other aspects of my life besides social media,” Lala explained.

Stassi Schroeder, Lala’s Vanderpump Rules co-star, is the first guest on the new podcast, which will be available on January 22. Wait–it’s not 50 Cent? Lala would also like to interview the world’s oldest living person. And she is eager to discuss her sobriety.
But if this new venture should flop, the couple already has a plan in place. “When we were trying to come up with the name, I was like dead set on ‘Give Them Lala…with Randall,’” Lala said. Her fiancé loves the title! “I like the title because if I suck, it’s like, ‘Oh, they could just clip the ‘with’ off and then it’s still ‘Give Them Lala.’ So I can’t really lose. That’s how I look at it!” Randall joked. Randall is giving up any hope of privacy opening up more and is also appearing on this season of Vanderpump Rules with Lala.

In November, Randall told Us Weekly, “… The best part is it will be nice to open up a little bit and show people how we are and take away the mystique. So, I’m petrified but excited that people get to see us.” One thing fans will not get to see? The couple’s actual wedding, which is not being filmed for Vanderpump Rules.
