Luann de Lesseps started 2017 on top of the world. She married Tom D’Agostino on New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach, Florida and she couldn’t stop talking about how happy she was… all the time. Now things have come full circle for Luann. After less than a year of marriage, she and Tom broke up. She ended 2017 where she started it, but this time she probably wishes that what happened in Palm Beach stayed in Palm beach. Unfortunately for her, pretty much everything she does- the good and the bad- is very public.
Luann was arrested for disorderly intoxication, battery, resisting arrest, and she even (allegedly) threatened “I’ll going to kill you all” during the incident in question. Now the Real Housewives of New York star is checking herself into a rehab facility.
Luann confirmed the news to People. She admitted, “After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed.”
She added, “I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event. Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do. My actions alleged in the police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character. I am so grateful for the love and support that I am receiving from my family, friends and loyal supporters.”
Things have definitely taken a dark turn for the former countess. Hopefully this is what she needs to get back on track and be the Luann that the fans know and love.
