There are countless examples of how couples have come together, forever, thanks to fairy tale romance, a booze-infused mansion, Chris Harrison, and no hint of the real world. Works every time!
The most recent couple to find a match made in heaven is Emily Maynard and Jef Holm. Oh, who am I kidding? If they can't even bother to keep up the charade, why should I try? These shows are ridiculous, yet I cannot turn away. I am obsessed…and even though some insiders are spilling some of the shows' secrets (and by secrets, I mean exactly what you thought producers were doing behind the scenes), I will still be glued to my television when Emily looks for love for the ninth time.

An insider reveals some of the production secrets to Radar Online. Did y'all know they manipulate people's reactions so that they'll be more emotional? You don't say! The insider shares, "This is done every season on the Bachelor and the Bachelorette producers always tell the contestant who is going to be chosen, that they are going to be rejected, and vice versa. Producers know in advance who is going to be chosen of the final two, and they feel that this is the best way to get an extremely emotional exchange on camera that makes for amazing television." I don't know if it's 'amazing'…predictable, yes, but amazing?
The source explains, "There was never any doubt that Emily was going to chose Jef, and he was very confident that he was going to be chosen. But producers were in his ear all day leading up to the final rose ceremony saying it looked like Emily was having a massive meltdown and was leaning towards choosing Arie [Luyendyk Jr.]. By the time Jef got to the final rose ceremony he thought for sure he was a goner, and when Emily chose him you can literally see the shock on his face and that is the moment that producers were looking for."
After that the inevitable happened, and love affair that would span eternity several weeks was born. The insider says, "Of course, Jef then proposed to Emily and she accepted. Poor Arie went into to that situation believing that he was being chosen, and of course, he wasn't."
We all know what happened next, but I'll be honest, I didn't think the pair would break up so quickly. Amid sexting and fast food hook-up allegations, the couple split, and despite being photographed together over the weekend, the couple is not back together. The same site reports, "Emily and Jeff are definitely over and have absolutely no plans to get back together. They are trying to remain amicable though and he was getting his things ready to pack up and leave North Carolina over the weekend when they were photographed together. Jef will be headed back to Utah in the next several days. They are extremely saddened that the relationship didn't work out but truly are hopeful they can be friends. Jef just wasn't ready to be a dad to Ricki and didn't realize the commitment that would be required of him by having this little girl in his life."
With the exception of having to return that massive rock, a source close to Emily seems to think she'll be alright, saying, "Emily is going through all the offers she is getting right now, including a potential reality show about her life as a single mom looking for love. Emily is very media savvy and loves being in the limelight. She has no plans on retreating back to a life without fame and celebrity." Ouch!
