On December 7, Olivia Rodrigo attended the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in a tiny vintage Thierry Mugler dress. However, the LBD was quite different from what celebrities usually opt for on the red carpet. The singer showed support for producer-songwriter Daniel Nigro, who won the Producer of the Year award. Besides Rodrigo, Reba McEntire, Charli XCX, Lana Del Rey, and Jack Antonoff were also present at the event.

Olivia Rodrigo stunned in a classic LBD at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch on Saturday. The vintage dress was part of Thierry Mugler’s Fall 1998 Collection. Interestingly, the stunning piece stood out among other red carpet looks since the black number was super versatile and could also be worn to a casual get-together with friends.
The dress had a halter neckline in a strapless bodice and featured a tiny plunging cutout. The LBD also came with pockets, which is a much-appreciated element when incorporated seamlessly into the design. Rodrigo paired the dress with a pair of peep-toe leather heels. The singer kept her beauty choices minimal to match her LBD’s energy. She simply tied her dark hair into a high ponytail and completed the look with barely-there winged eyeliner.
Olivia Rodrigo has previously experimented with archival fashion, donning a vintage Christian Dior gown to the L.A. premiere of the “GUTS World Tour.” The gorgeous piece was a part of the fashion house’s Fall 1998 Collection. Moreover, the purple-black dress paid homage to John Galliano’s time at Dior. It featured lace throughout with purple peeking through, which is perfectly fitting for the artist who has included the shade in the promotion of her latest album.
Rodrigo also wore a vintage slip dress to the Grammy Awards earlier this year, opting for a sequined Versace from the Spring 1995 Collection. It was first modeled by Linda Evangelista, with the champagne-colored fit looking stunning on the runway.
