Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 10. Last week, Stacey and Ashley both had their mediation meetings, which garnered unsatisfying results. Still, Ashley decided to beat the mediation blues by rappelling down a building for charity. While she let out her inner Spider-Man, Mia decided to ignite a fire between her and Gizelle. She was mad Gizelle called her out in front of the group about a social media post with her family. So Mia spilled some tea about Gizelle’s daughters in response. Time to grab the popcorn! Here’s exactly what went down in RHOP Season 9, Episode 10: “Love in the Fast Lane.”

Ashley and Gizelle tried to find love in the fast lane by attending a speed dating event. They both were successful, but only Ashley’s choice got a second date. Wendy finally dropped the bomb on her mother and she resigned, which brought about a surprising response. TJ also surprised Stacey when he seemed a little too relaxed about her possibly dating other people. And finally, Mia spilled the beans about the divorce to her children and tried to set boundaries with Gordon. But Gordon wasn’t ready to play ball just yet.

Gizelle and her girls gathered round to talk about her father’s will. She said someone around him had him sign a new one before he passed, which made it so they did not receive any assets. Gizelle told the girls her dad couldn’t sign anything in his condition, so she was going to court to get that thrown out. This made her not want to get married again. Gizelle joked, “I don’t be trusting these people out here.”

Over at Stacey’s crash pad, TJ did his best audition to play a chef on The Bear. He performed with a questionable accent and chose subpar ingredients for a pizza. Boboli crust? However, the real issue was his feelings about being left out at Wendy’s party. He said, “I was like Uber date. Where we got into the party, you were holding my hand, and then you were off. But you never checked back in with me.” Stacey was shocked he couldn’t just hang with the boys.

Stacey then shared the group didn’t think it was wise for her to jump into a serious relationship so soon. She asked, “Would you continue this journey if I did see other people?” TJ was stunned for a moment but quickly said he would be open to other options. He reassured her that it didn’t mean he would sleep with other people. But Stacey was bummed that TJ didn’t seem to want to fight for her.

Wendy’s sister Ivy stole the show with her commentary on RHOP

Not only is Wendy hilarious, but so is her sister Ivy. When Ivy asked Wendy about work, Wendy asked, “What work?” To which Ivy gave a big, “Oooh.” Then Wendy relayed the news she hadn’t told their mom yet about her resigning from being a professor. Hence their meeting today. Ivy went to run straight for the door but was blocked as their mom, Susan, walked in right on cue.

After some general chit-chat and liquid courage, Wendy said, “So, mom I have something I want to tell you.” Ivy again pleaded to “exit the chat,” but was quickly denied. Susan asked, “You’re pregnant?” Which was followed by, “Are you crazy?” after Wendy dropped the bomb. Ivy let out an “Oh boy.”

Surprisingly, Susan quickly came around. She didn’t want Wendy to feel stuck, and she had the credentials to go elsewhere. In her confessional, a relieved Wendy said, “You can be who you want to be, not who your parents want you to be. And I love that.”

Gizelle and Ashley had three minutes to find their life partners

It’s been a while since we’ve seen some speed dating on Bravo. However, Ashley and Gizelle were up for the challenge. Gizelle said in her confessional, “I’m just looking for somebody nice, fun, go to a museum, walks in the park, all those things.” The producer asked, “So you want a TJ?” Dead.

Ashley’s first date gave her a big bouquet of her favorite flowers and assured her it wasn’t from “creepy research.” Next! She ended up hitting it off with Josh, who grew up on a farm. Gizelle liked Nnamnse, who liked to turn it up. Unfortunately, she still couldn’t get Summer House’s Jason Cameron out of her mind. In the end, it was Josh and Nnamnse for the win. But could they make it to date number two?

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Karen and Ray were thankful for their twenty-eight years of marriage. Karen reflected that after the accident she was angry with Ray. In her confessional, she said, “I felt a lack of support from Ray prior to the accident. And it just bubbled over. I feel today, he’s listening. Ray is going above and beyond to reciprocate what I’ve done for him in the past.” Ray admitted he’s been “trying to be extra supportive” to her. Karen let him know it wasn’t going unnoticed, and she didn’t want them to take their marriage for granted ever again.

Ashley met up with Josh for a second date, and she already envisioned their future together. She said, “We could build a chicken coop or two, go collect some eggs together, ride off into the hills on a tractor into the sunset.” Even though he was too young for her, his bout with cancer made him more mature than most thirty-year-olds. Ashley was ready for another date and sealed it with a kiss.

Meanwhile, new besties Keiarna and Mia met up for coffee. Mia wanted advice as Keiarna worked in mental health. Her biggest takeaway was that Mia and Inc might trigger Gordon’s behavior. But would Mia really take a pause from Inc this time?

Later on, Mia was with her kids making cookies. Not only are they adorable, but they are wise beyond their years. When Mia told them about the divorce, they were very levelheaded about it. Her daughter’s main concern was she did not want her mom to marry Inc. Mia understood, but hoped that when she got older, she would see where she was coming from.

Mia then told Gordon both Keiarna and Inc felt she needed to set boundaries between them. Although Gordon accepted their divorce, he felt things were fine the way they were now. Mia felt otherwise. In her confessional, Mia said, “I need to get this divorce and stop worrying about taking care of Gordon so I can move on and heal. And that’s how I intend to live the rest of my life.”

Real Housewives of Potomac continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
