It seems like Lisa Hochstein’s messy life will continue being the backbone of Real Housewives of Miami next season. Lisa’s divorce from Lenny Hochstein was central to the story for Season 5, but the drama continues. Since their split, Lenny jumped into a serious relationship with Katharina Mazepa, the woman whom he may or may not have cheated on Lisa with. Somehow, that’s only the beginning of the mess.
Lenny and Katharina’s relationship status is as confusing to us as why Kiki Barth keeps Whoppers in her purse. Lenny put a ring on Katharina’s finger and then they split up. It’s unclear whether or not they’re back together. But Lisa chimed in on the drama at Bravo’s Fan Fest in Miami to add more fuel to the fire.
Lisa Hochstein isn’t hiding anything
Lisa spoke with E! News at the Bravo event to explain that she has been in contact with her ex-husband recently. “Actually he did contact me and he was super nice when they broke up,” she explained. “And we spoke and he told me all about it, then the story changed.” I’m surprised Lisa was one of Lenny’s first calls when he had his own relationship problems. The irony is uncanny.
It sounds like Lisa is just as confused as the rest of us are about Lenny’s relationship status, but she’s not interested. “Then the story changed and then they got back together or they were working it out. So, I’m not even sure if they’re back together or not, nor do I care anymore,” Lisa said. Good for her.
Ultimately, Lisa recognizes the ridiculousness of the situation and wants to be excluded from the narrative. “It’s just kind of a joke. Nobody can take it seriously, it’s like a big clown joke,” she concluded. “And I don’t want to be a part of the circus anymore.” Can you really blame her?
