Summer House Stars Tease Series’ First Threesome in Season 9

Things are going to get a little wild in the Summer House this season.

On November 23, Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula spoke with People at the Bravo Fan Fest 2024 in Miami. They teased something we haven’t seen before in the House for Season 9.

“We had our first threesome!” Kyle said, prompting Amanda to quickly clarify that her husband was talking about the show, not them personally. Wow, goals, I guess.

“Not us! Not us!” Batula emphasized to People. “I did my fair share of sex on camera my first summer, and I am done. I said if I’m going to have sex on camera, I’m going to make you pay for it on OnlyFans. I’m not putting it out there for free.”

“Summer House had our first threesome,” Kyle explained.

Amanda urged him not to spoil the secret. “Don’t give it away,” she said, to which Kyle responded, “No one knows who, so there you go.” My money’s on either Jesse Solomon or West Wilson.

“It wasn’t us, [but] we had a fun summer,” Amanda added. “Everyone else had their own kind of fun this summer.”

The Season 9 release date has yet to be announced, but we do know the cast. Returning stars will include Carl RadkeLindsay HubbardPaige DeSorboCiara Miller, West Wilson, Jesse Solomon, and Gabby Prescod. Additional noobs have also been spotted filming, though their names have not yet been confirmed.

Bravo Fan Fest attendees were treated to one scene from the new season. The scene featured the entire cast, including both Carl and Lindsay.

Surprisingly, filming with the two exes following their sensational breakup was much less dramatic than fans might expect.

Carl and Lindsay actually get along on Summer House

“I’m really proud of them and how they were mostly able to take the high road,” Amanda said. “They knew that they were signing up to co-exist under the same roof, and they really embraced that.”

“It’s really nice to see them in that good place,” Kyle added. “I wouldn’t wish what they went through on anyone. I can’t even imagine, and we were pretty close to it. So props to them [for] coming out the other end.”

Though less than a year had passed since they were last in the House together, Carl and Lindsay had both moved on and were lightyears away from where they’d been the summer before. Lindsay was finally pregnant with her first baby with her new boyfriend, and Carl was getting ready to open his new business: a non-alcoholic bar.

The pregnancy storyline is certainly something we’ve never seen before on this show. That should put a different spin on the summer’s activities.

“It’s quite interesting what different paths they’re both on,” Amanda said. “But they both seem really, really happy. Lindsay got the family that she wanted and the guy that she really wanted, [while] Carl got the sober bar idea — which is so awesome … So they’re in the same place emotionally and fulfilled with what they’re doing right now.”

All episodes of Summer House are currently streaming on Peacock.
