Scheana Shay Says She ‘Doesn’t See How We Can Continue’ Vanderpump Rules ‘With Everyone’

Vanderpump Rules is in uncharted waters, folks. After an emotional and shocking Season 11 reunion (especially if your name was Ariana Madix), the show took a break from filming. The cast watched the final few moments of the season together at the reunion. A stunned Ariana didn’t know her friends Lala Kent and Scheana Shay were slamming her on camera.

Both ladies, particularly Lala, were upset because Ariana refused to film with her conniving ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval. This is the first summer that Pump Rules hasn’t filmed. And while the show is rumored to return, there are questions about how that will happen.

Scheana has already been considering what needs to happen for the show to move forward. “I hope we can move forward still making this show. But I just don’t see how we can continue it with everyone,” Scheana told Entertainment Tonight. When asked what she would envision for the future of Pump Rules, she didn’t hesitate. “The girls need to come back. So we need some girl power,” Scheana replied.

Scheana also commented on Ariana’s hosting debut on Love Island USA. “I tuned into all of her outfits,” she remarked. “She looked fire.” Of course, with this new hosting gig, Ariana probably won’t be back on VPR. Plus, I think that the reunion surprise really hurt Ariana.

During Season 11, both Lala and Scheana received backlash for trying to help Sandoval rehab his image. Scheana had a particularly difficult time trying to stay friends with both Sandoval and Ariana. But the mom quickly bashed Sandoval when he attempted to sue Ariana because she found sexually explicit videos of Rachel Leviss on his phone. Welcome to the cheating saga of Scandoval! Rachel is suing both Sandoval and Ariana alleging revenge porn, among other claims.

“They can say I’m backpedaling, they can say that I’m trying to make this about me, but I just don’t support that behavior,” Scheana said of Sandoval, “and if people want to say it’s too little, too late, whatever.”

Fans will have to wait and see if the show is renewed, and who, if any, of the current VPR cast returns.

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
