You only get one chance to make a first impression, and allegedly, Lala Kent totally screwed that up when working with David Arquette. The Scream actor and the Vanderpump Rules star once worked on a movie together called Spree.
You probably didn’t see Spree, so we’ve got you covered. It’s a horror comedy that came out in 2020 with mixed reviews. Along with Lala and David, it also starred Joe Keery from Stranger Things and Frankie Grande. All of the A-listers. Lala had a small part, but apparently, she left a big impression on David.
During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, he recalled his time working with her on the movie, and he made it clear that Lauren from Utah wasn’t the nicest person in the cast.
David got shady in the Clubhouse
Thanks to a viewer-submitted question, Andy Cohen asked David about his time working with Lala. Clearly, the spirit of WWHL got into him because he decided to be brutally honest about their interactions.
“I didn’t really have any scenes with her,” David admitted before dropping a truth bomb about her questionable behavior.
“We met a couple of times at the screening and stuff,” he recalled. “Not the friendliest to me.”
David elaborated, “I don’t know. [She] gave me a little attitude. I felt a little attitude, know what I’m saying? I wasn’t trying to give attitude. I was like, ‘Why am I getting attitude?’”
Yeah, Lala, why were you giving altitude? Did she not realize she was talking to the one and only Officer Dewey Rlley? The disrespect.
Andy joked that David probably felt like he was actually in an episode of Vanderpump Rules. It turns out that’s probably scarier than any of the Scream films. Who knew?
Lala hasn’t responded to David’s side, but we know it’s only a matter of time before she drops a podcast episode about this. Knowing Lala, she’s probably recording it right now.
Vanderpump Rules can currently be streamed on Peacock.
