Before Real Housewives of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury can have another baby, she has to somehow get her current “baby” to be a little more independent. That is, she has to get her husband Sergio Carrallo to be able to manage on his own a little bit more. He wants to live in her pocket and needs to be constantly at her side.
“I can’t even go to the loo on my own,” she joked.
Caroline, who is 48 and already has three children from her first marriage, has one single frozen male embryo with Sergio. Although she hasn’t decided whether she’ll carry the baby herself or use a surrogate, she confessed that she’s “excited” to give Sergio his first child.
A hands-on dad
“We made a deal … I’ve done it all before,” the British native explained. “If he wants to do this journey, then he’ll have to do all the nappies and the feeding … I didn’t see any of this happening to be honest, you know. In my life … every time I say no to something, it happens.”
In an interview with Decider, Caroline was asked if she’d made any progress cutting the umbilical cord with her clingy husband. “No!” she exclaimed. “Anyone want to write in and tell me how I let him do that? I have no idea.”
At the end of the day, if Caroline can get Sergio to agree to all the hands-on care, maybe they can have a baby together. “I’m excited,” she admitted. “I’m excited, if he’s excited. He has to have a baby. Look at that face.”
Meanwhile, Caroline is close to both her Dubai castmate Chanel Ayan and Real Housewives of New York OG Dorinda Medley. The two Bravo stars have been cast in The Traitors Season 3. But which of her friends does Caroline feel will be more successful in the competition?
“It’s so awful to say, but it’s going to be Dorinda,” she predicted. “Chanel is a terrible liar. She has no poker face. I will be shocked [if] she makes it through the first week. Shocked.”
