2024 is looking to be the year of Alan Cumming. For all the faults that The Traitors Season 1 may have had, Alan certainly wasn’t one of them. Everyone loved his straight performance in the face of all the drama between castmates.
Fast forward to Season 2 and The Traitors is a certified hit, with all the awards to prove it. At the Critics Choice Real TV Awards, The Traitors won four out of their five nominations. Two of those awards were for Alan specifically.
The beloved host won both Male Star of the Year and Best Show Host. Is it any wonder then that Alan continues receiving praise in the celebrity sphere? As evidenced by his latest accomplishment, a Walk of Fame star.
Walk of Fame honors Alan for his live performances
On June 24, the Hollywood Walk of Fame website revealed its Class of 2025. In a press release, the organization highlighted one star who reality TV fans know all too well at this point.
“Alan Cumming, host of Peacock’s The Traitors, is one of the new members of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025, which was announced today by the Walk of Fame Selection Panel of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce,” the statement read.
Notably, Alan was honored in the category of Live Theater/Live Performance. Aside from his live performances on The Traitors, Cumming has a deep breadth of theater roles under his belt. According to Playbill, some of Alan’s most notable performances include 1998’s Cabaret, 2013’s Macbeth, and 2024’s Alan Cumming Is Not Acting His Age.
As of right now, Cumming has no star ceremony officially scheduled. (None of the Class of 2025 stars do, in fact). However, as with many Traitors fans, we’ll be waiting with bated breath to know the date. Alan continues moving up in the world, and we’re here for it.
