Say it forget it, write it regret it! This iconic housewife saying is probably running through Jackie Goldschneider’s head right now.
On the latest episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jackie got outed for a mean text she wrote about castmate Dolores Catania. Right in front of Dolores, mind you.
The former full-time now friend-of has found herself in nothing but hot water this season. Dolores just happens to be the latest casualty. So what exactly did Jackie say? Read on.
Bring on the screenshots
Jackie and Dolores came together at Melissa Gorga’s housewarming party to try and hash out their differences. But Margaret Josephs, who is in a heated feud with Jackie, wasn’t about to let that happen.
During Jackie and Dolores’ conversation, Margaret texts Dolores a screenshot of Jackie talking smack. “I definitely think intentional,” Jackie wrote in the text. “She’s a f-cking slob, and I hate her.”
Jackie’s angry text came after she accused Dolores of not tagging her in a social media photo of the charity baseball event. Dolores has maintained the omission was “a total accident.”
An understandably pissed Dolores asked Jackie, “Am I a slob?” as she flashed the screenshot.
While Jackie initially tried to play it off like she didn’t say it, she quickly backpedaled. “’Slob,’ to me, it’s not a great thing to call somebody, but it’s not that bad,” Jackie explained. “It just means, like, your behavior is mean and stupid, and juvenile, and petty. That’s what I mean by ‘sloppy.’”
Dolores claps back
Nice try but Dolores wasn’t having it. “’Slob,’ where I come from, it’s a nasty word,” she said in a confessional. “Getting called a slob from the girl who’s a f–king hot mess almost every day — crying all the time over everything — and I’m the slob? I’m the f–king slob? OK, Jackie.”
Once she was backed into a corner, Jackie tried to deflect, reminding Dolores that Margaret was no saint. The mother-of-four claimed that Marge said “horrendous” things about Dolores and her boyfriend. The difference was that Margaret didn’t put it in writing.
Unmoved, Dolores shot back, “Well, then she’s smart. She’s a lot smarter than you.”
