According to the latest from The Valley star Jax Taylor, he and his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright are dating other people. Or trying to work things out. It’s complicated – and he hasn’t always been the most accurate reporter.
Judging from this past weekend, it looks like his struggling marriage might not have been at the forefront of his mind. He was spotted partying it up alongside Tom Schwartz and a bevy of bikinied servers and fans while guest bartending at a Las Vegas club.
Jax ripped shots during a Las Vegas club appearance
Jax and Tom took to DAYLIGHT Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas on Saturday. Jax mixed drinks and downed shots behind the bar while a crowd gathered and cheered as music pumped in the background.
Photos show Jax spending some of his time chatting with scantily-clad fans. The model he’s “not dating,” Paige Woolen, was nowhere in sight.
Perhaps Jax just needed a reprieve from all that he’s got going on right now. His and Brittany’s separation/maybe-attempt at reconciliation has been up and down. They’ve also been co-parenting their three-year-old son, Cruz. Brittany and Cruz now live in an Airbnb since Jax refused to leave their shared home.
On top of that, the former “#1 guy in the group” of Vanderpump Rules has been facing some challenges at his recently opened bar, Jax’s Studio City. The health department already paid a visit after some complaints. The most notable was that he or Brittany changed Cruz’s dirty diaper right on top of the bar.
Customers also flooded Yelp with bad reviews, citing poor service and long wait times for food.
Viewers of The Valley Season 1 finale saw Jax weasel his way out of seeing a therapist at Brittany’s request, because “it was really far” to travel. Apparently, Vegas wasn’t too far for a fun weekend, though!
Season 1 of The Valley just ended, but is streaming on Peacock.
