Recently, Andy Cohen addressed the Real Housewives of New Jersey leak rumors surrounding Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin. Kiki Monique brought it up to him, saying, “Jersey this season had an unprecedented amount of leaks.”
She continued, “Do you think that sort of contributed to … what fans were feeling as they were watching this season and is production, Bravo, are they doing anything to sort of like prevent this?”
Kiki also mentioned Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She essentially asked if Bravo had a problem with its shows’ workings behind the scenes. Now, after Melissa Gorga’s comments on the matter, it’s Andy’s turn.
Andy compares RHONJ leaks to RHOSLC fourth wall breaks
On SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Andy and Kiki got to talking about the leaks. Andy said, “Right. I hate leaks as you can imagine because it just, I mean that’s what was so fun about that Reality Von Tease thing. It was like no one knew about it and it was just so fun as a viewer, so I hope that we can get into a vibe of not leaking.”
Speaking of Reality Von Tease, some fans are calling for Tre and Jen to take a pause just as Monica Garcia had to do. Regardless, Andy went on, “I think that the cast on Jersey is so fed up with each other. There are teams of people against each other and I think you would probably agree that one of the things that didn’t work about the last season of [Real Housewives of Potomac] was that the group, it was kind of no coming together for this group.”
The Housewives producer continued, “It was like unheard of, so that’s our thing to solve for next season of Jersey and we can do it and we will figure it out, but in terms of the leaks, I hate leaks. I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other and that’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.” For more context on the matter, there’s Melissa’s response.
