A Definitive Ranking of Every Couple on The Valley

I think the success of Season 1 of The Valley can be largely attributed to the messiness of the couples. The show was pitched as a more “grown-up” version of Vanderpump Rules but it turns out that having kids has not stopped these Bravo stars from acting like total high schoolers. From blow-up fights to cheating rumors, these couples are way more entertaining than I initially anticipated.

Here is every couple on The Valley ranked from worst to best:

Jesse and Michelle (Separated)

I think Jesse and Michelle Lally would agree with their placement on this list. The couple was waving red flags from Episode 1, from Jesse admitting he was not an involved parent to rumors about Michelle’s secret boyfriend. These two weren’t exactly giving relationship goals.

Jesse and Michelle were flirting with the idea of a separation from the start of the season, so it shouldn’t come as a shock to fans that they followed through on that idea. According to Bravo, they split in October 2023, despite not confirming the separation until March 2024. In May, Jesse shared that he was dating someone new during an appearance on Page Six’s podcast Virtual Reali-Tea. The Valley star gushed about his new love, stating, “She’s just a very amazing person and she’s a beautiful soul.” Michelle also started seeing someone after the split. The Real Estate mogul told the Daily Dish she is dating financial advisor Aaron Nosler.

“I think [given] his age, he’s kind of ready to find a serious relationship,” she said. “He knows that I am going through what I am going through, and I didn’t know what was going to happen.”

Jax and Brittany (Separated)

VPR fans won’t be surprised to see Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright low on this list. The pair had issues from the start of their relationship, from Jax being controlling over Brittany’s plastic surgery to him cheating on her with SUR waitress Faith Stowers. Fans always felt Brittany deserved better than him and had mixed feelings about them walking down the aisle. On The Valley, Jax continued to receive backlash for his treatment of his wife. He criticized her drinking and showed her little physical affection.

Despite the couple stating they “didn’t believe in divorce,” they are currently separated. Brittany announced the split on the February 29 episode of her and Jax’s podcast When Reality Hits

“I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she shared.

She spoke more about her decision in an interview with Page Six, telling the outlet she felt unappreciated in the marriage.

“I asked him to do little things — four little things — and … go to therapy was one of them. He hasn’t done that yet,” she revealed. “So there’s little things that I’ve asked him to do. We’ll see if he does it all, but we’ll also see if it changes anything.”

Kristen and Luke (Dating)

Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick seem happy but there are some roadblocks in their relationship. Luke’s a Colorado native who hasn’t made the full switch to LA living. Although he said he is open to moving to California full-time for Kristen, he’s expressed that her space doesn’t feel like his home. They are also moving pretty fast, which has some fans concerned. They have only been together for two years and are already trying for a baby.

Additionally, we saw Kristen avoid a conversation about their finances on The Valley, which is worrisome. If they want to have a child together they need to be able to talk about money.

Janet and Jason (Married)

Janet and Jason Caperna are a great match. Janet is more fiery and emotional whereas Jason is more level-headed and calm. They seem to balance each other out well. I loved watching Jason diss his wife’s gossiping habits this season. Overall, they seem like a healthy, happy couple.

Danny and Nia (Married)

Danny and Nia Booko hold the crown for the favorite couple on The Valley. The actor and the former Miss USA have a lot on their plate but their relationship appears solid amid the chaos. They seem so in sync and completely in love. Nia opened up about her postpartum depression this season and Danny provided a shoulder to lean on. Aw!
