Kristen Doute Admits Pump Rules Season 11 Felt ‘Very Final’

If you watched the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 finale and thought it felt like a series finale, you aren’t alone. Even Kristen Doute got that vibe watching it. Just like the rest of us, The Valley star is kind of struggling to see a path forward for VPR — at least with its current cast.

The end of an era?

Kristen talked to the New York Post about the VPR Season 11 finale and shared her thoughts about what could be next for her former show. During her chat, she admitted that the finale felt “very final.” For Kristen, it was that moment when they showed all of those old confessional interviews that really hit home.

“The nostalgia was so real — especially that very ending moment where Lala [Kent] is giving her finale confessional moment, and then they’re showing all the photos from everyone’s season one,” Kristen recalled.

She continued, “That was really crazy and took me way back to 2012 when we shot the pilot.”

In addition to the season finale feeling a little too conclusive, the news that Pump Rules would be taking a production pause added more fuel to the fire of speculation. However, Kristen shared that the pause could be a good thing. Not only does the case deserve a little bit of a break from the cameras, but she said that this pause might bring some freshness to the show if and when it returns for Season 12.

She explained, “I think everyone needs to take a beat and take a break. Let them live their lives for a little bit so we can all watch what’s happening a few months from now.”

“So that’s my hope,” Kristen continued. “I hope they keep going.”

Even if Season 11 is the end of VPR as we know it, there are still a few episodes left. The reunion airs on Tuesday nights on Bravo at 8/7c.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THAT VPR WILL RETURN FOR SEASON 12? DO YOU AGREE WITH KRISTEN THAT A PRODUCTION PAUSE MIGHT BE WHAT’S BEST FOR THE CAST RIGHT NOW?
