When I first sat down and watched Siesta Key, I died laughing. Let me be very clear, I was a huge fan of this now-defunct series. But also, I live here, and while this area is stunning, it’s not exactly lively. Yet, MTV worked its magic, and before you knew it, I too started believing that Sarasota is actually filled with lit bars and gorgeous models, such as Kelsey Owens.
To be fair, it’s getting there though. Bless its heart.
But then, the messy drama sucked me in. As did everyone’s growing-up stories, which included a brief move to Miami for most of this cast. Babies and weddings are all the rage these days in this bustling (before 5 pm) city of retirees. Now, Kelsey has joined several of her former costars in this major life move, as just this past weekend, she and Max Strong were wed in a simple, albeit stunning ceremony up in Ellijay, Georgia.

When we first met Max, there was some weird drama about how he and Juliette Porter might’ve had a thing. But Juliette slapped that down, literally, and thankfully, the girls are now in a much better place. That said, Juliette was not in attendance for Kelsey’s wedding, but I’m sure she at least sent a card. Now, Max is officially Kelsey’s man only for the rest of his life.

Over on her Instagram account, Kelsey posted a sweet image of her newly married self, kissing her husband as they walked back down their wedding aisle following their ceremony. “Now introducing Mr. & Mrs. Strong!!! 05.04.24,” she wrote underneath.
In Kelsey’s bridal party was, of course, Madisson Hausburg. These two have been best friends for years. In the audience, I also spotted Amanda Miller, Camilla Cattaneo, and Cara Geswelli. Not shockingly, Chloe Trautman did not attend, but even on this, zero hatred still lingers in their shared salty atmospheres.
Overall, it looks like the drama-fueled heat has since cooled down in Siesta Key, right in time for summer.
