Kristen Doute has some thoughts on the way the Vanderpump Rules cast has been treating Ariana Madix lately. As VPR fans have seen on Season 11, cast members like Scheana Shay and Lala Kent have questioned their treatment of Tom Sandoval.
When Scandoval broke last year, everyone knew that the thing to do was ostracize Tom. The worm became poison to anyone’s personal brand. As such, it was shocking to see the likes of Lala and Scheana reconsidering their feelings towards Tom.
Odds are good that this change in perspective on Tom is what created a rift between Ariana and her castmates. Lala and Ariana are reportedly in the middle of a feud right now, likely due to Tom. So, what’s Kristen’s take on all these shifts?
Kristen does “not get” the VPR cast’s treatment of Ariana
In a recent interview with Life & Style, Kristen shared her thoughts on the VPR cast’s changing allegiances. “I do not get it,” she said. “I don’t understand why everyone can’t just ride for [Ariana]. Let her be, let her enjoy, let her experience this new piece of her life that is bringing her peace.”
She continued, “It’s really tough. It’s tough in general just to not be so biased about how I feel about the cast and the show itself. But really as a viewer and as her friend, it is really difficult that everyone has these strong opinions and their opinions don’t just say whatever works for you right now.”
Kristen also emphasized the timeline. “I think everyone is forgetting how short amount of time it had been when they started filming this season compared to when Scandoval broke. So, I just want everyone to just, like, do you.” While Season 11 is airing long after the fact, filming took place only shortly after Season 10 concluded.
