There are two feelings that Tom Sandoval has repeatedly shared about his life post-Scandoval. The first is resentment towards those in the Vanderpump Rules cast who made money off of his affair with Rachel Leviss. Ariana Madix’s endorsements and casting opportunities have afforded her the ability to buy a 1.6 million dollar home solo. Lala Kent also put a down payment on a house after selling her “Send It To Darrell” merch.
The second is his supposed unrequited love for Rachel. During Pump Rules Season 11, Sandoval has spoken of expectations of her returning to his life and picking up where they left off. He yearned for some sort of closure and didn’t get it.
Sandoval then merged the two feelings into one, and his co-star had to react to it.
Sandoval thinks Rachel should “stop talking about the show”
A recent Vanderpump Rules episode had the cast reacting to statements Rachel made on Bethenny Frankel’s Just B podcast in August 2023. Sandoval was hurt that the former VPR star never loved him.
The Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner reacted during the Vanderpump Rules After Show on April 16.
“If she actually really does wanna move on, maybe she should stop talking about me on a weekly basis. Stop talking about the show,” he suggested before doing a 180.
“You know what, I take that back. Girl’s gotta eat, you know what I mean, she’s gotta make some money,” Sandoval said.
His sidekick, Tom Schwartz, agreed that Rachel is cashing in on the continued interest in the affair. She’s getting her “bag.”
Sandoval echoed public sentiment on Rachel’s appearance with the former Real Housewives of New York star. He called it “rich and ironic” for Rachel and Bethenny to talk “about how Rachel’s getting exploited, yet she’s literally doing the same thing.”
During the VPR episode, Sandoval called Rachel’s statements “disrespectful” and bemoaned Rachel using him and “now is throwing me away.”
As if to give himself some closure, Sandoval told his business partner he hoped, “one day that she would see the work that I’d done myself and would appreciate it.”
“I don’t understand how she said I was anything but somebody who just loved and cared about her, like, I’ll do anything with her,” he concluded.
