Most of the cast of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2 have significant others. Even though many of them don’t live in the house this season, the sneak peek showed fans that they would come to visit.
In case you need a refresher, Bria Fleming’s boyfriend, Simon Marco, visited the house during Season 1. Everything turned to sh*t after he spent time with a naked Shanice Henderson in the hot tub. Now, it looks like it’s Amir Lancaster’s turn to get in the mess.
His girlfriend Natalie would come to visit at some point during their second season. From the reactions of Amir’s co-stars, it doesn’t seem like it was a great time. During Summer Marie Thomas‘ Watch What Happens Live appearance the other day, she told a fan caller that she stood by calling Natalie “stand-offish.” She continued, “When I first initially met her, she was stand-offish” before saying they’re in a better place today.
What other relationship drama is brewing with the Summer House crew?
In addition to the issues Amir has already shown fans with his girlfriend during an earlier episode, his buddy Alex Tyree is also in a lot of the mess.
The first episode of the season featured an explosive argument between him and Summer after the latter revealed he stopped talking to her after sleeping with her in Los Angeles. Eventually, Alex explained that things between them fizzled out because of a “creepy” photo Summer sent of him to their housemate, Jordan Emanuel. “I felt like I couldn’t trust her,” he told producers during his confessional. “Had I been thinking with my head and not my [redacted], I would’ve caught some of these red flags.”
But Summer isn’t the only girl he has to worry about. New cast member Noelle Hughley also expressed her interest in him during Episode 3. “A toxic trait of mine is that sometimes I can become territorial of people,” she told him. “So, it’s like you talking to a girl in there … and I want you to move freely without the thoughts of me. But, I still want you to think of me as somebody that can be an interest.”
After explaining her feelings, Alex said he thought she was so “sweet” before saying he’s been in situations where people “create expectations” of him, which isn’t something he was looking for at the time.
“That’s just a cute way of saying, ‘No, I’m not interested,'” Summer told the cameras. “I feel very much naive. I was trying to go off of the encouragement of what some of my housemates had said, and then when I put myself out there, I get burned.”
We’ll see what else comes of these two during the season. But, in the meantime, catch new episodes of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2 on Sundays at 9/8c.
