Vanderpump Rules reunion fireworks! Given all the teasers we have been getting about the state of Lala Kent and Ariana Madix’s relationship, it’s not surprising those two are the source of the reunion drama.
Mother Pumper Lisa Vanderpump is now sharing some details about the beef between them during an appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
Ariana came for Lala
“It was very complicated,” LVP shared.
As for a tweet that circulated last month about what happened between the two, Lisa shot down the claim. The Fan account Bravo Babe wrote, “Rumor is that Ariana eviscerated Lala at the end of the reunion. Like friendship over type of situation.”
“I wouldn’t say Ariana eviscerated Lala.” LVP clarified.
The reunion, which was filmed a few weeks ago, promises to deliver on a fight between Lala and Ariana. And it sounds like Lisa enjoyed what Lala was bringing to the table. Said Lisa, “I don’t think Lala ever wastes any time letting anybody know what she feels which is why we kind of like her. I’ve always been a big proponent of supporting Lala. I think [she has] just been a great addition to that show.”
As for Lala’s take on the same tweet, she stated during a March appearance, “I think the exact tweet was, ‘Ariana eviscerated Lala at the reunion, and it was friendship ruining,’ and only one of those things is true –– I’ll let y’all decide.”
Lisa thinks they can repair their friendship
Despite Ariana and Lala not speaking, LVP thinks they can eventually work it out. “Have you seen how those dynamics change? They change quicker than most people change their underwear. You just think, ‘I’ve got this now. That’s never going to happen. A line’s in the sand’ and then they jump over it,” she explained.
“This group is very outspoken but also pretty forgiving if you think [about] what we’ve been through.”
