Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has given us some unusual relationship dynamics. After Scandoval broke, almost everyone was Team Ariana Madix. But Tom Schwartz tried to support his friend Tom Sandoval amid his affair with Rachel Leviss. The Season 10 reunion was vicious, with Sandoval and Rachel on the receiving end of lots of angry tirades. But this season of Pump Rules has shown some of Sandoval’s co-stars have changed their stance, particularly Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and James Kennedy.
Still, Ariana insisted that she won’t have mutual friends with Sandoval. Pick a side, ladies and gents! Meanwhile, Ariana has been riding a wave of opportunity since the scandal. She nabbed a spot on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars and then landed the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. And some of her co-stars seem a bit jelly. In the Season 11 trailer for VPR, Lala said, “I have never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly becomes God!”
Lala eventually confirmed rumors of a feud between herself and Ariana. Their blow-out at the Season 11 reunion was so bad that it reportedly destroyed their friendship. Not to worry – Team Sandoval has a spot on his friendship bench just waiting for Lala.
Lala’s feelings for Sandoval are softening
During the most recent episode of Pump Rules, Lala and Katie Maloney were sitting with Ariana at a club when Sandoval approached. He asked Ariana if she had received the letter that his attorney sent about buying her out of their house. She gave a quick response and then turned away. Sandoval continued to talk to her icy cold shoulder.
After Sandoval left, Lala commented, “That was so awkward.” She also sounded off in her confessional about the exes sharing the same home. “It is taking Ariana a long time to rid herself of this house; it’s f–king weird,” Lala said. She questioned why Ariana didn’t rent an apartment.
Then Ariana’s dog, Mya, ingested some wooden skewers after she was shut in Ariana’s bedroom. Sandoval had been in there to adjust the air conditioning vents. He said it was an accident, while Ariana claimed that he had been careless with her dogs before.
Lala felt “a little bad” for Sandoval after Ariana ignored him. Then Lala and Sandoval had a deep conversation. Her position is that everyone should have the “chance to evolve.” They decided to try and work on their friendship.
