The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 was a bit rough for Sutton Stracke, in no small part thanks to Annemarie Wiley. An unexpected source of drama this season came from Sutton’s esophagus of all places.
See, some think Kyle Richards implied that Sutton had an eating disorder. Sutton reminded her and everyone else that her esophagus often tightened up when she tried to eat. As a nurse anesthesiologist, Annemarie doubted Sutton’s explanation.
Annemarie began questioning the whole thing in a scene that viewers saw more as an interrogation than genuine concern. The relationship between Sutton and Annemarie did not get better from there. So, what does Sutton think about Annemarie now that the season’s over, and is there friendship in their future?
Where Sutton stands with Annemarie and Kyle
On March 11, CJ Sykes interviewed Sutton for his show. During the interview, CJ said things seemed good at the reunion, but Sutton confirmed that she had not spoken to Annemarie since its filming. CJ asked if she thought she might speak to Annemarie in the future. Sutton shrugged before saying, “No.”
CJ pointed out that the season was a little rough and wondered if Sutton was glad it was finally over. “Well, no, I think that was last season,” Sutton confessed. “This one, I felt good about. I think that I really found my voice this season,” despite the esophagus troubles. “It was sort of my coming out a little bit.”
Sutton further said there were “enough fun moments with enough dramatic moments.” To that point, CJ asked Sutton if she and Kyle would ever be in a good place again. “We had dinner like a week and a half ago,” Sutton admitted. “And we didn’t talk about the show, which was sort of nice. We just sort of caught up … We both wanted to just do that and just enjoy an evening.”
