Before Summer House Season 8, we were promised it would be providing all the answers as to why Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke split up. It took only two episodes for some very enlightening video footage to surface in which Lindsay accused Carl of being under the influence.
If that wasn’t enough for Summer House viewers to completely side with the Loverboy employee, now more issues are starting to surface. Carl’s lack of employment at the time was frustrating for the highly driven Bravolebrity.
And that’s been translating to Lindsay wanting space from Carl, who she complained about not having a nine to five job.
Lindsay compared her life to “COVID times”
In a preview for Summer House Season 8, Episode 4, fans can get a further sense of the fundamental disconnect between the formerly betrothed couple.
Carl and Lindsay arrived at the house first. The former publicist made herself a cup of tea and went on the patio to snooze outside. Her then-fiancé emerged and said, “Come on babe, hang out with me.”
“What do you wanna do man?” Lindsay asked without opening her eyes.
In a confessional interview, the reality TV star spoke about her need for personal space.
“Carl and I are like, COVID times,” Lindsay said. “Carl doesn’t have a nine to five job, And we’re on top of each other a lot. You need space to miss each other. You need time away from each other to breathe. Then we share a house together on the weekends and I’m like, ok, ‘hi.'”
So the tone was set for weekend number three. Will another major argument ensue, or will Lindsay simply brood to herself?
Meanwhile, the rest of the cast has been reacting to the drama. How will they respond should another weekend be filled with Carl and Lindsay conflict? We’ll probably find out very soon.
