The cast of Dance Moms is finally reuniting after several years off the air. The mother and daughter duos appeared in a new trailer for Lifetime’s special, Dance Moms: The Reunion.
A press release sent our way reads: “Dance Moms: The Reunion includes new interviews with fan-favorite dancers as they look back at the most memorable moments of the series and discuss the good, the bad, and everything in between, including the lasting impact on their entertainment.”
It continues: “The original Dance Moms cast discusses some of the most controversial headlines since the show aired, catches fans up on what they are doing now and provides some shocking revelations as the Dance Moms drama comes full circle.” So which blasts from reality TV past are coming back to reminisce?
Who made the pyramid?
The special, which airs on Lifetime on May 1, will feature a handful of the original cast members and several of the replacements (who became staples on the team).
The Hyland sisters, Brooke and Paige, are joined by JoJo Siwa, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, and Chloe Lukasiak. Their mothers were also in attendance. “I can’t tell you the last time we’ve all been in the same room,” Paige said in the trailer for the program. “10 years!”
“I feel like I ruined your life and your dance career,” her mother, Kelly Hyland, said in a clip. Meanwhile, Paige noted forgiving Abby is still a challenge because she did “so many nasty things.”
The trailer also teased some of those explosive moments the show is most known for. One scene showed Kalani storming off the stage, saying, “I don’t know if I can talk about this,” while another showed Kendall confronting JoJo about leaving their studio.
Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler were not in attendance, nor was Nia Sioux. Some of their co-stars, especially Kendall, voiced their frustration, saying, “We would not be here without Dance Moms,” while JoJo said they were trying to “erase” their past.
