Kyle Richards Accuses RHOBH Cast of ‘Wanting to Believe’ Erika Jayne Was Guilty

Things got serious for Erika Jayne on the most recent Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode, and Kyle Richards couldn’t help but agree with Erika. But let’s back up.

For over a year now, Erika has been implicated in her estranged husband’s alleged crimes. Tom Girardi was accused of embezzlement and fraud, reportedly stealing millions in clients’ money. Erika’s managed to avoid trial up to this point, but it hasn’t stopped accusations from flying in her direction.

Not even her castmates could keep from wondering about the extent of her involvement in her husband’s business dealings. Sutton Stracke particularly laid on the accusations pretty heavily. This led to an apology during last night’s lunch scene. So, how are Erika and Sutton feeling now?

Sutton had “no idea” how deeply she hurt Erika

In reflecting on the situation during the RHOBH After Show, Erika expressed her disappointment that her friends bought into her guilt. She couldn’t believe her friends wouldn’t say something more to the effect of, “Hold on a second, I actually know her.”

Kyle, who was seated beside Erika, added, “Some people wanted to believe it.”

Erika replied, “I know.” She added, “Thanks for saying that. I appreciate you saying that because I agree.”

Sutton, meanwhile, expressed some regret. She’d always shared her suspicions over Erika’s complicity in Tom’s alleged crimes. “I had no idea that what I did was gonna do so much and cause so much damage in her life. So, I apologize.”

Kyle told Erika that she felt Sutton had hurt her the most. Erika agreed. She further conceded that receiving the apology meant a great deal. “I know it’s not given out easily,” Erika said. “And she probably doesn’t want to apologize to me … but I was grateful for that.”

Moreover, Sutton acknowledged that Erika just felt different this season and that behavior ultimately culminated in this moment of vulnerability on her part. “I was finally at a place with her where I could truly apologize,” Sutton said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 finale airs Wednesday, February 21 at 8/7c on Bravo.
