Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval has clarified that it wasn’t his fault that he cheated. It was the fault of his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix. She allegedly “belittled” him, which forced him into an affair with Rachel Leviss. Delusion, party of one! Or maybe it is a party of two because Tom Schwartz is starting to sound like Sandoval. That is a frightening thought.
Schwartz called Ariana “a diva”
During the Vanderpump Rules: After Show, Schwartz called out Ariana’s attitude. “At one point, you make a comment about Ariana’s ego,” a producer stated. “I think I played it cool for the most part, but I…I did have to ego check her there,” Schwartz said.
He was referencing a scene in the most recent episode. “You’re a lost cause,” Ariana told Schwartz. “Don’t speak on behalf of the whole group. You’re not the queen of the group. Come on, your ego is getting a little like… come on,” he responded.
“Now it’s my ego?” Ariana asked. I guess if you take advantage of opportunities sent your way, that makes you egotistical. “Sounds like Tom Sandoval,” Katie Maloney said on the Pump Rules: After Show, prompting Ariana to agree.
“I have great, you know, reverence for what she went through and it f*cking sucks, got humiliated, but like at that point I had seen her sort of becoming a little egotistical,” Schwartz explained. “I had seen like little glimmers of it starting to go to her head.”
Paging Sandoval! It’s time to slam Ariana again. “I just…I just want to point out that like this does not excuse what the f*ck I did. What the f*ck I did was so messed up,” Sandoval stated. “On a separate note, that is what I dealt with a lot behind closed doors. This is like what drove the wedge between us.” Oh…I thought maybe it was cheating for months. My bad.
“I think for a short period of time, she might not even have been aware of it, but I think it went to her head, and I think she became a diva a little bit,” Schwartz added.
Ariana sounds off on her inflated ego
Then a producer named off all of the opportunities that Ariana has had and asked about the size of her ego. “I don’t understand how working jobs translates to my ego or my personality like at all. I don’t think I’m any cooler than I was,” she stated.
Ariana just led the Broadway show Chicago to its highest-grossing level for a non-holiday performance. So, she has the right to be confident.
